Absolutely. Merc doesn't have any tire issues anymore. It will be a very rigorous battle from both sides. Everything is possible, qualy doesn't mean much here.

So Pirelli saying fastest strategy is US - S.
We don't have new softs. But the soft we have only have 1 installation lap on them I think. Stil; we don't have any data on them in contrast to Merc

Indeed, putting the S on for Ferrari will be a risk. So I expect Ferrari to put on SS. Question is will pace over a stint be good enough compared to S?
First stint will be crucial, I think we need to stay out longer perhaps. That's why it will be crucial to have Kimi up there, otherwise perhaps Seb needs to defend from an undercut from BOT

...so Lewis is 25 points behind...so he is cautious, he needs points, he cannot crash, he needs to finish...and Seb knows this, so he can be a little bit rude in first corner and every other corner

Lewis won't be thinking like that. He's going for the win 100%

Pace & long stint on US is advantage for Ferrari.

Yeah it's unlike Lewis to calculate that much. Probably he will go for the win even if it means him crashing or whatever.

Both will go for the win. Seb will be quite ok to finish 2nd. 18 points ahead still.

I'm At the trAck now and it's quite windy compared to yesterday in quali
Let's hope it's not going to affect our cars too much or maybe gonna give us an advantage

Forza Ferrari and best of luck to our drivers
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

US and SS will be our strategy. Sure ss can go 40 odd laps quick.

Seb will try to be on the inside of the second turn, it is almost a hairpin and being on the inside is very much advantageous.

We must go with SS for the second stint because we don't have a fresh set of softs? If so, this is bad...

You lucky boy being at the track and the wind will affect everyone, I'm just praying that our drivers get through the first lap unscathed and take it from there. Forza Ferrari!

I think it's a 1 stop race. Ferrari must be confident it can be made on SS. Historically, lots os safety cars here. Let's hope our strategy isn't ruinned by an early safety car. Safety cars later in the race can be advantageous for Ferrari as will make tire last longer and harder tires hsve more troubles to put the tire temperature up again.

Ron Dennis is confident its new partnership with Honda can bring back that winning feeling to the team.

Grand Prix du Canada 2017 Race

Seb's best chance will be first 2-3 laps, I'm betting he will be super aggressive initially. If somehow Hamilton manages to stay ahead, it will be down to tyre management

Yes but then a lot will depend on BOT.
Perhaps Seb does very agressive with very early stop..
Everything will depend on BOT and Kimi aswell I guess
