If Ferrari are using it, how they throw it away for this race???
Performance deficit is related tyre warm up issue, set-up issues. Not oil burn allegation.
FIA said it breaks the rules this year, so that's why we have stopped using it.

prolly that EX ferrari employee was NOT getting paid too much....and leaked the info
so even though ferrari was pusing the envelope with the oil burning, it bit us in teh rear end.....if INDEED was us that was using it

i'll believe it when the FIA will reveal the info....until then it;s all rumours
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

No I don't think it's for this year.
    FIA released statement for it.
If FIA found Ferrari guilty then they would have disqualified or race ban or points deducted right?

And it said it breaks the technical rules for this year. So if we used it here we run the risk of someone protesting.

so tehn the Merc's engine map for Q3 is legit.....they;re extracting more power out of the engine for ONE lap without using OIL......
we had to do some clever cheating with OIL BURNING in order to get better lap time adn WE GOT COUGHT.....

oh well at least it was clever idea until, well...tehy FIA cought us

But I have got one doubt. Actual issue was raised by Renault & RB for clarification to aim at mercs in the month of March.
By then season haven't started yet.

Maybe they wanted confirmation that there biggest rivals wouldn't be using it or something

I find interesting that VET mounted a very old ICE and not a third fresh one, why take the risk and probably lower performance?
The only reason I can think of is that third and fourth ICE will be upgraded ones with better perforrmance.

According to Amus, Ferrari are the first team to ask FIA for clarification if two oil specifications can be used.
Then mercs suspected Ferrari was using it canada on straights through their GPS data.
If Ferrari was using it, they would have used in Bahrain too right which too as straights?? Why only Canada specific.
    These mercs are BS

thats what im praying for, that he sacrificed today's race for next race being improved. but wont he get a penalty when he changes it

Only if he gets a new turbo, that's the only component that reached the limit

    Good luck everyone

Hoping for a clean start, and that we will be fighting the Mercs instead of RB

    Simple Sunday strategy?
"It's quite a straightforward one-stop race here," says Ted Kravitz from the end of the pit lane as the cars come out onto the track for the first time today.

"The top 10 on the supersofts will go to lap 12 or even as long as lap 20 and then go onto the yellow-striped soft tyre to the end, lap 51."

lol thanks, id been confused about that... maybe a better or faster turbo would be worth the grid penalty though, if they develop such
