To everyone freaking out after Q1 that we would be miiiiles away.... to everyone that is convinced we're losing the development race... 4 hundredths is pretty respectable really. Business as usual, as with the rest of the season.

People need to acknowledge that Ferrari are doing an amazing job this season. Eventually ya gotta stop whinging!!

Can't afford to screw up tomorrow. With Ham starting P8 (he will finish P4 at worst) both Ferrari and Seb can gain some good points.

I wonder what will bottas do at turn 1. As he's outside of turn 1. Seb will be inside. He might squeeze him.

Hamilton is starting in a dangerous position, lots of potential contact in there.

Underwhelming qualifying though, RBR off the pace, no second runs, no surprises.

Very short track 4 tenths is a big gap......so no it does not clarify much.

Hopefully Bottas doesn't kamazaze Seb at the start in the interests of "the team"

The gap was 4 hundredths of a second. Not 4 tenths. Unless you're referring to Kimi? But that's just his average gap tbh.

HAM will clear RBR easily on the straights so that puts him right behind BOT and us, with SS he probably can go longer and will have US later on.. He has a good chance for a win. If Seb can't get and make a gap to BOT, Merc will let him control the race to get HAM ahead

Why do they need to shake hands after qual when neither is on pole?

From Q result it doesn't look like affecting at all. But I like how Ferrari keep their lips sealed with all the allegations. It does make you wonder.

Hopefully Seb jumps bottas at the start and if it does rain bottas isn't that good a wet weather driver and lewis starts in the middle of the pack where there's chance of a Collison hopefully he gets caught up in it

I like the way Ferrari are approaching. It's just like another allegation. It's not huge effect.
As in Baku Ferrari suffered with asphalt n warm up issues

Davide wanted them to shake hands. Friendly gesture is all. I guess they did already sometime ago. No biggie.

Ham will start on SS with less grip. Cars behind him will have more grip who are starting on US.
So it's like 50-50. He may gain or loose positions.

Typical Sky commenting, I believe you should have known... But this on-track rivalry is the exact drama we all love to see.

Wet weather will be an opportunity for Hamilton, dry will give Vettel better chance of maximising on Hamilton
