Maybe the sensors they used in Bottas's car were the same ones that said Hamilton did not braketest Seb. Lol!

sorry people, but I don't see it. He got it perfect. He is rocking the car ever so slightly back and forth prior to the lights going out...then he times it perfectly.

But his time is over. Can't compete with the guys who r taking aggressive moves.
    1. He needs to pay attention more on his racing wheel complication because car nowadays needs IT degree to operate it.
    2. Can we change his race engineer? His instruction is pretty rubbish everytime he tells something complicated about Kimi's car on the radio.
    3. Once I saw Kimi hit a lot of marbles at T1, I would say his race was pretty much over.

Jump start is decided by the sensors on the car, probably because he didn't cross his grid slot line..
Still it was a jump start because you see him reacting (on the steering wheel) while still full red..

Bottas jumped started. He should receive a penalty. The cameras don't lie

There was a minute forward movement before lights were out. The rule is clear.

Also the rule is if you pass the grid box before the lights go out your penalised hes was rolling but didnt pass the line I think you should get penalised for that as he gained an advantage but those are the rules

Let's scrub this jump start debacle, guys. Decision has been taken, there's nothing we can do.
Let's move on and pray the engine upgrade will do wonder at Silverstone.

NBC just showed a video where he moved before the lights went out. He didn't cross the grid box tho. What does the rule say?

No you are not allowed to rotate tyres. He moves ever so slightly back and forth cuz he is on the bite pt....0.20 sec reaction time...it does not get any better than that.

I agree & I really dislike changes in stewards decisions or additional penalties handed out after the results are in. When you see it in real time it is a killer start by Bottas.

There is a sensor in that yellow lines. It reads movement of the cars. Any movements (Including by a very small margin) before lights go mean jump start

It does not matter if he passes or not. It is a drag race to the first corner and he accelerates earlier. It is blatant.

When I watched the start, I immediately asked, is that a jump start? But, hey, the stewards said otherwise. So, I'll take that as a perfect start from Bottas.
