Seb had a poor lap, he's been on average 3-4tenths quicker than kimi so factor that in he would be within a couple of tenths. Agree with you, put Vet, Verstap, Alonso, Ric in that merc and they'd be much closer to ham than bottas.

Also bare in mind Hamilton has always been very quick at silverstone hence the 5 pole record.

whatever he did, obviously Kimi did the better job when it counted and he's ahead of him....of course during the race he'll MOVE over for Seb as it usually happens at Ferrari when one had MORE points then the other
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

not yet, but looking at the replay, i would NOT call that blocking....so more likely there will be NO penalty....

I remember when Schumi was penalized during qualifying in Mocano in which he allegedly stopped and eventually blocked Alonso.

Kimi has nothing to lose. He should take more risks against hamilton at the start.

Oh and it is safe to say we have left redbull somewhat behind at least up until now.

brutal monster lap by Lewis!!!! Hamilton's pole lap was 244.8kph or 152.168mph, the quickest single lap of the entire 2017 Formula 1 season

Love Button on the mic, good questions and a natural.

Monza and Spa will be faster weather permitting. UK will still be on the speed podium though.

Seb's final lap was on used ss tires. Why was that? Is he planning 2 stopper race ss-new ss-s?

that doesn't make sense.....as they will start the race wiht the Q2 tires

so it doesn't make sense to go out in Q3 with used tires......when you have brand new ones

If true, supposedly pirelli have said to expect a 2 stop race. If seb has kept a fresh new set then he'll be able to attack more towards the end.
