Does anyone know what our situation is with the equipment for 2017. Its tough to follow.

this was yesterdays up-to-date current component allocation allotment; of course it has changed today. Alonso's new Spec 3 engine; Bottas gearbox change; Kimi CE and Vettels CE.

I think its dumb to penalize the driver when it comes to mechanical issues; the FIA should penalize the manufacturer and take points off the WCC. It's not the drivers fault

that this failed or that failed. Puts more pressure on the Manufacturer while the drivers can race. That goes for everyone.

The thing is imagine last year where sauber got the points in Brazil earning them millions of pounds and then losing them because of a grid penalty and going bust

I believe Liberty convinced Merc to go with Ferrari's former gearbox supplier! Liberty knows F1 needs Ferrari to win it this year and a few more. Red Bull, Merc had their shot , now back to Ferrari! USA F1 fans only know and want Ferrari WCC!

With RIC getting a penalty as well, it might be interesting if he does a good qualy so he starts close to BOT and they race each other in the race..

Its interesting that whenever we used this RW we had troubles with rear end stability. Why use it? Better straight line speed?

I think Ferrari didn't expect soft tyre to perform in this range. It's like a shocker for them.
