When it comes to strategy, 2 stop?
i think 2 stopper is the best when working with clear air, might be bunched up if pit to early and overcut could be better, that first two straights will be where mercs have the best chance to jump us like in russia

Bottas has to remember these 2 things.

    1. Try not to jump the lights
    2. Remember to brake for T1 and not use Kimi/Seb as a stopping block

Not a bad decision considering he can't be in a competitive team the next couple of years and he's 36. He'll get the best possible machinery in Indy though, that's for sure.

Talking of heat problems, late panic on Lewis Hamilton's car

His W08 is overheating on the grid and his mechanics are frantically trying to divert cold air through its vents.

I think Lewis will have a difficult race if following cars as he is already struggling with overheating before the lights go off

Here's what Lewis Hamilton had to say earlier, and he definitely feels the start will be crucial to his hopes of victory this afternoon.

“It’s a very long run down to Turn One so there’s an opportunity there. It is so hot today so I think it will be interesting to see who can make the tyres last and who can’t.

“They had the problem in the last race so whether that will bear any impact today will be interesting.

“The undercut is a little bit important but it’s about trying to go forwards whether it’s by their mistakes, the start, undercut, degradation. We’ll see.”
