For me tactically, it's better to sacrifice pole under wet track for tmrw race which is in dry conditions.

Merc with more RW. We are missing a bit in straight so probably have to cut some wing.

Thats why cars cant run even on full wets. Grosjean dropped it on the straight.

I think vettel made a mistake in sector 3 1.7 seconds slower than hamilton in that sector

I agree with Martin, if they don't want to go out they don't have to.

Latest rumour: McLaren will terminate Honda-contract on Monday if no ToroRosso-Honda deal will be agreed on.

Start/finish straight looks like the wettest part of the track. The rest of the track looks fine.

Sky was saying according to Pirell, the pit straight has half the 'roughness' of the rest of the track due to being resurfaced

could you go quicker in these conditions? you can not help and control a car in a blink of an eye to snap on aquaplaning. As soon as the water lifts the tyres and you spin, theres no hope.

F1 cars today are more powerful than the V10 era, and they do not have traction control like they did during the era of V10.
No matter what tires you put on the car today, they cannot run in a heavy rain condition. We have to accept this.

I agree with you Rob, but Grosjean was the only one to have a big problem, although struggling everyone else managed to make it round and like Martin says if you don't wanna go out you don't have to.

RG wasn't aquaplaning, him 'playing with the throttle' caused the off, Lewis went through the same area and had no issue. RG fault, the guy is just bad in the wet, he panics.

Would not mind this grid tomorrow. We have skinnier RW and would be hard to be infront of Bottas again.
