Has Ricciardo got a problem with his Red Bull?

It appears part of his bargeboard is scraping against the track surface - with a few sparks flying off his car.

But he is still 0.7s-a-lap quicker than Hamilton in second.

Doesnt matter what tyres you got on. Once loose temps and pressures it takes few laps to warm up, pushing, loosing tyre life. Best bet, as i said keep this pace and life and temps in the tyres. SC can be good, but also be very harmful. Not many engineers wish for SC during races to "help" gain places. As it could backfire, badly.

20 laps to go...so he needs at least half a second a lap to have a shot into the closing stages.
he lost 5 secs to Alonso and 4 secs to Bottas. That's Ric's lead right there...

Fastest lap for Vettel - 1m34.3s. That's one second quicker than Ricciardo, who is 8s ahead of him.

yes mate, but wouldnt do us any favours. Seb would take more tyre life out of them in first lap or 2 attacking people in front or defending. And loose alot of time near the end with no life left, worse case, tyre failing.
