Would this be a fair assessement???

2017 Ferrari Powered car (Haas) can't overtake a 2016 Ferrari Powered car (Sauber) @ COTA 2017 down the long straight.

Hmmm interesting. I'm starting to think that Ferrari engine have reliability issues. They might running at low power to avoid any difficulties. Think of TC failures earlier, related to cooling issue may be.

After malaysia, I think Ferrari turned down it's engine. That was evident in japan & COTA.

Ferrari were competitive in spa (ham with new spec engine). Monza was a complete set up fault. Singapore DF circuit. Malaysia we have seen vet car was the fastest on the grid, where kimi retired with some pipe issue.

Japan, due to earlier TC issue they might be running on low power.
Remember Haas too had same engine problem where vet didn't take part in quali.

To be honest, i think that Max would've not been penalized if he did what Bottas did. Bottas wen't wide in a battle while Max braked later to literally cut the corner to overtake. Max's advantage was a bit more severe than what Bottas did.

I noticed it on the broadcast, a giant bird shadow gliding across Turn 1 at one point later in the race and I was like turkey vultures here in Texas don't get THAT HUGE!!!...they're big but JEEEZUS when I saw it I was like MAMA MIA that bird is big. - Liberty has now admitted that it was added via CGI: https://www.motorsportweek.com/news/id/16198

    #F1:Mika salo : “ I have received death threats, mainly from Holland ” (after Verstappen’s penalty) http://ift.tt/2h9jbac

still, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Haas should replace him with IndyCar Champion Newgarden, they need an American racer anyway. No reason for him not to adapt to F1 and it will be interesting to see what a great IndyCar racer can do in F1.

could it be that some of those 'death threaters' put money on Max making the podium?

they should've done like me and only bet on top 6

anyway, it appears Mika is not the only one:
