F1AT said they struggled to get the best from the updates and that already yesterday the situation had improved. I fail to see all the gloom that some are injecting here, they needed just a good test, they had it so they will likely be much stronger in France and GB. Ferrari wasn’t designed for high downforce tracks so it was always predictable that in Spain would win a Mercedes and in Monaco it might be a win by RB. In the medium DF tracks, which are the majority, Ferrari should have a slight upper hand, if the strategy team don’t let the drivers down.

That's why Max's driving is what's best. Whatever he can do at the moment to get ahead is how he drives. The best set up car can't drive itself, #3 on the podium says it all, front damage and all. The only cars to beat him were Merc. It seems while everyone else is into what tires will get them a win, Max races the hell out of what he has leaving everyone else behind except for Merc this time.

Max is straight out fastest current driver IMO. Made few mistakes this year but he will on it now and he will be very hard to beat. Would not be surprised if he puts it on pole in Monaco and wins.

Max & Leclerc @ Ferarri! The team can tell Leclerc to sign up as #1 driver if necessary . Max won't listen to team orders anyway! 5 straight years of WCC , WDC at Ferrari would be great! Two young drivers to hang around for a long haul.

Merc & RB are seeing “ghosts on our car” at every race.
These are the words used by toto wolf whenever RB blame something on mercs. Now it’s our turn to say those.

The alleged trickery is so complicated that the FIA technicians find it difficult to understand it. Which makes it difficult to prove a violation of the rules.

Apparently FIA still can not prove we are in a breach

He crashed the podium party last race !! Meanwhile our guy Seb safely stays out of the top 3. He needs take a lesson from Max and step in the gas . The tires alone won't get him up front.

Maybe other teams are cocky, but what they are doing is what anybody else would do........get FIA to clarify the rules! What this will do is one of 2 things; a) FIA will deem it against the spirit of the regs and close the loophole, in which case Ferrari loses performance or b) clear Ferrari and pass the system as legal in which case other teams will rush to produce their own versions and have them ready for Canada and improve performance. Either way they can’t lose.

We have over the Barcelona test with these new tyres. We, or on Sebs car, got the setup all wrong for the Spanish GP....it was too aggressive. Case in pt. Seb came in on lap 17 to do the undercut (softs to mediums) then came in on lap 41 (Ocon's VSC) due to chewing up the mediums in the rears....thats 24 laps on mediums (those are 40 lap tyres).

That extra HP could be ruining the tires. Perhaps med instead of of soft or ultra soft will help especially in Monaco where engines are not as important as grip.

Great going by Ferrari fans ... coming up & saying we lost the championship because Ferrari were caught with illegal of extra power usage battery.

Neither mercs nor RB or other teams are not able to prove that it is illegal till now. Even FIA scrutinised the car at baku race n termed legal. Only in Spain those mirrors found to be illegal & were told to remove that’s it.

We are coming up here n saying It’s over. Wowww.
I think instead of mercs or RB fans alleging it, we ferrari fans already agree it as illegal & getting trolled to other team fans.
    Super job. Keep it up.

Spain updates worked well. Ferrari know that they were not that competitive because of the tyres and used different things to test the car. That was the problem with Kimi. Next races we will see Ferrari with a biger gap to Mercedes. They know it and are going crazy about it.

Kinda sad that Kimi's engine issues are being swapped under all the poor horror performance from the team at spain looking at news on motorsport websites, these engine issues for kimi seem like such an amateur team mistake if it was really just a rebuild connection issue. throwing away podiums and points every track now

The man has a point, it does look amateur, you don't win championship that way

Both him and you (apparently) fail to see that the team, contrary to previous years are pushing the envelope hard in order to win.
When the team does not push, they are failures, when they do, they're failures.

With mentality like yours , they're damned either way.

No team better than Ferrari, but sending Kimi out minus an engine is not an easy thing for fans to just overlook; just because of the great red paint job. The team needs mechanics that have zero, no , tire responsibility, so they can realize and send out a car with an engine besides the correct tire choices. Formula - Pirrelli has everyone brainwashed that it's only the tires that matter. That's "Ultra Soft " brain use. I believe Ferrari will win this year WCC, if all the mistakes have already passed. Todt and Ross need to pass another new rule, FIA go on vacation untill 2019!
