Ferrari aren’t doing any performance tests for now. They are doing their own programme.

Not only that, but the difference between medium and soft only 3 tenths? Hard to believe
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

I know Ferrari are focusing on long runs but its a very impressive time by Hamilton as we all expected Mercedes are just as fast as last year.

It will be mercs vs Ferrari once again. Same as last year. Occasionally RB. But if McLaren produces good aero, then RB vs McLaren

Its annoying to see these doom and gloom posts already, lets face it Mercedes has been and will be the favorite for the last years and since their program has been ahead, they can afford to push for lap times earlier than everyone else because they are not constantly having to make big gaps/jumps to try and catch up to the leaders, that being said, usually testing for lap times comes towards the end of testing, not day 4.

I wonder where they get the speed trap data from. There is no way those speeds are from the normal speed trap at the end of the long straight, as those should be in the 320-330 kph range.

Day 1+ Day 2 + Day 4 testing in miles and laps and by single team and cumulative by manufacturer.

    Renault engines - 255laps 1187.02km + 169laps 787km + 305 laps 1419km = 729 laps 3393km

    RedBull - 105 laps 488.77km + 67 laps 312km + 35 laps 163km = 207 laps 964km
    Renault - 99 laps 460.84km + 65 laps 303km + 109 laps 507km = 273 laps 1271km
    Mclaren - 51 laps 237.40km + 37 laps 172km + 161 laps 749km = 249 laps 1158km

    Ferrari engines - 198laps 921.69km + 214 laps 996km + 354 laps 1649km = 766 laps 3567km

    Ferrari - 80 laps 373.40km + 98 laps 456km + 120 laps 559km = 298 laps 1388km
    Sauber - 63 laps 293.26km + 81 laps 377km + 138 laps 643km = 282 laps 1313km
    Haas - 55 laps 256.02km + 35 laps 163km + 96 laps 447km = 186 laps 866km

    Mercedes engines - 178 laps 828.59km + 273 laps 1271km + 295 laps 1373km = 746 laps 3473km

    Mercedes - 83 laps 383.36km + 94 laps 438km + 129 laps 600km = 306 laps 1421km
    Williams - 73 laps 339.81km + 100 laps 465km + 101 laps 470km = 274 laps 1275km
    Force Inda - 22 laps 102.41 + 79 laps 368km + 65 laps 303km = 166 laps 773km

Toro Rosso (Honda) for all 3 days = 324 laps 1518km
