    No way,
in race pace on softs vet > mad max
    On SS Kimi > ric> Bottas> ham

To be precise ham literally struggled in fp2

Max was on average faster, and with the least degradation.

OMg, We might beable to fight better for Constructors if its true, but Kimi is now suddenly the faster ferrari driver so what a horrible time, if this ricciado deal demotivates him

Vettel happy with the balance of the car and the stability of the front axle.
Yeah that’s what I wanted to say. In fp1, both cars looked rusty in braking zones.

From all the above mentioned drivers. Kimi did most number of laps on SS with consistent pace. Interesting thing he did 1.35.9 on 18th lap. Where max did 1.35.8 on 11th lap

Mad max used the softs in later part of fp2 at the end. By that time track got rubbered in.

Vettel was faster on medium than Hamilton on softs.

    Rai (Softs): 35:2, 35:7, 35:5 In

    Bot (Softs): 35:1, 35:6, 36:0, 35:9, 35:7, 35:8

    Ham (Softs): 36:0, 35:4, 35:6, 35:9, 35:5, 35:4

    Vet (on medium compund): 34:7, 34:8, 35:5, 35:8

This is of course just the first stint. Red bull might be running with less fuel than Mercedes, Ferrari on race simulation.

Impressive Ferrari engine powered cars again at the top of the table. Nice one, Torro Rosso with a Honda engine must be running the minimum downforce level.

Williams and force india are so disappointing in speedtraps , they used to be the top every session

Lets see how tomorrow goes, Merc (as they suggested) may now be preserving engine life on Fridays.

Yup, Melbourne friday the teams (mercs, ferrari and rb) all looked very close to each other then on saturday mercs were 0.7s faster than anyone. But it's good that it seems seb has found some* stability in his new setup and is closer to kimi now

Yeah the Mercedes was 0,3s ahead of Kimi after FP2 in Melbourne. In qualy they found another 0,350s of a gap to Ferrari. But here in Bahrain we are 0,5 ahead of Mercedes, what would at least mean that on this power circuit we should be at least on pair with Mercedes in Q3. Or maybe in worst case 0,2s behind Hamilton. We will see tomorrow, but today Mercedes was sliding with the car much more in the corners than our car. But we usually find a lot of time from FP2 to FP3. We need to keep our feet on the ground. But its looking much better than it was still in Australia after the FP1,FP2.

Looking at that, seb seems slower than both RB, daniel R did a great job, and both mercs. im not 100% if it is indeed the long pace laps

it looks odd to me that even though Vet started very well ,he lost 1sec inthe next 2 laps and then even more to settle inthe 1:36s witch is way to slow!!!the initual laps show we have the performance and we are the easiest on the tires so this thiny looks really strenge!!!

Vettel was keeping the powder dry

Vettel had some slower laps on the soft but if he turned in another 34 at the end then it can’t have been pure deg as was mooted on Sky commentary
    Go Ferrari, beat them all!
