So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Is it fair to say we have the fastest car? 3 poles in a row

    Great performance today

Too bad for Kimi though, his race already compromised by starting on US tires, and now his starting position would be difficult too.

Amazing stuff from Ferrari, insane lap by Seb such a beast driver, poor kimi, he was going quickest!! i think he overcooked his tyres in the first 2 sectors and had that spin(grip loss). :'( we could've been gliding tomorrow with the alternate strategies :( now that rat and bottas are going to double team Seb at the start :'(

It's bittersweet. Great that Seb got pole, poor from Kimi really. The worrying thing is Seb will obviously be outnumbered at the front.
But then on this type of circuit a SC is likely, and we know that can change the whole race.

Kimi has the better tires to jump ahead at the start and ruin Red Bull's chances. It's going to be VET vs. MERCEDES tomorrow. Let's get it done!

Too bad Kimi had that mistake on the last lap as it would have been another Ferrari front row. Seb was masterful as usual. All is not lost for Kimi as he's starting on the softest tyre and can have a good start and then it's anybody's guess with possible safety cars. But he made a couple of mistakes and that's worrying. Seb on the other hand have a great chance of winning. Question, will it be a one stopper with a longer first stint or will try and race on the ultrasoft tyre as much as possible (short stint on the supersoft)?

Kimi was struggling to put a lap from Q2 when SS were on.
Now this has kept vettel in vulnerable position to mercs. 2 mercs against 1 Ferrari.
Pit strategy will be crucial tomorrow.

Kimi has fastest tyre at the start & would give superior grip in 1st stint. He should clear mad max & ric at start then attack mercs. That’s the only hope.

    Difference between SS & US????

Yup. Vettel locked up, hence couldn't improve on second run.
Assuming the improvement was due to track, I think the gap between Ferrari and Merc should still be 0.3 - 0.4 sec

If we can win this race tomorrow, I think we are in for a really great season.

But if kimi qualified higher, he could have disrupted the Mercs
