Austrian commentator praised Vettel's pace on US, doing 14.8 and 14.9
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.
In fp1 Ferrari did run new suspension, rumours in paddock.
Yeah i think that we have better race pace...
Also,it's possible to see 2 or even 3 pit stops on Sunday judging from tyre wear.
Start on US and wait what happens.
Good thing we have a free day before p3 and quali to improve. But seb's long run pace seems to be good.
If we can qualify 2nd or 3rd, as long as it is only behind redbull, that is a great result. However, looking at race pace, I think we’ve got something in reserve for qualifying. I think it will be close.
It's only FP2.....I would'nt read anything into this.

It's going to be a pure one-stopper, drivers can do whole race on hyper softs.
I think Ferrari and Red Bull are equally matched, especially if we take red cars' usual improvement on Saturday and extra engine mode. That's good to have other cars between Seb and Hamilton.
Autosport puts practice analyses but last time they put Ferrari as favourite, while F1.com was spot on in predicting Mercedes dominance.
So... what do we take from today's results? Usual Friday, or...?
I don't think we've seen the full potential of any of the front runners in practice today. Pole in Q3 last year was 1,12.178 and Ricciardo was the only one under 1,12 today with a 1,11.841. All top six drivers should be under 1,12 tomorrow in Q3 and pole should be a low 1,11. There's still room to improve.
True dat! This is early days, and i think both our cars were doing pretty well.
Still think we are in for a good shot at PP. At least with vettel.
Quite sure one of the RBR cars will be on the front row as well. Merc boys dont look too comfortable, but you can never count of Hamilton putting in a great lap out of nowhere.
Enjoy saturday boys. Sunday is going to be a snooze fest.
Shittiest race of the season.
Silently, like a shadow
