Meanwhile, Alonso is already in his jet debriefing with Mclaren and on his way to LeMans...

Vettels race pace was really strong. The new engine is better in the race.

I feel sorry for Alonso but he could have behaved differently at Ferrari and would have won more races and perhaps WDCs. Now he is struggling to be higher than fifth. I hope he wins Le Mans though.

    Question.

When was the last time the top 3 overtook one another on the track and NOT in pit stop strategy???

He’s gonna retire, if he continues to perform like this.

Easy victory, just what we wanted a boring race where Seb dominates!

As for Kimi, i was always happy when the team extended his contract. But now it's really enough. We need a stronger number 2 that we will fight on par with Mercedes' number 2. Kimi needs to retire, enjoy more time with his family and do some rallying for fun. It's enough Ferrari F1 racing for him.

    don't blame Kimi...blame Sergio.

This was merely Kimi's standard performance since he returned to the team.

If so, how can one compensate for the low probability of overtake by the top 3 against one another on the track and not in the pits???

I didn’t see any strong performances from kimi in race till date, when he joined back.
This year first 4races he was on top form in quali. But it started to come down, with his silly mistakes in q3 he’s causing the team WCC. But I like him as a guy, he’s a team man.

It’s time for SM to take a call. Give a good farewell for him, either with a win. But he should retire with Ferrari.

Another great performence from Leclerc even with brake issues nice defending to keep Alonso behind aswell I don't think he would do any worse than Kimi atleast he would be hungry

Good quest. It’s just all talk about tyres. With these wider tyres it became more hard to overtake, carrying more DF to have better life out of tyres for the relative stints.

For me next year should be to improve overtaking without fuel limit. That will test engine capacity & tyre durability which will increase pit stops.

So many positives from today. Great in-season development rate, great engine progression. We are going well. This is the time to be proud of the team, to enjoy the victory... then we can all whinge and moan again before the next gp. But take a few days to enjoy this one, enjoy and be grateful for the work of the team.
