So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Couldn’t have hoped for today after quali, it would have been too much to ask for. Talk about damage limitation!
New aero next race we’re told. Time to turn up the pressure! If we can get Mercedes in Silverstone I will die of happiness and pride.

Just a week ago Lewis was running his mouth off about Seb's penalty being too light. Well now I can say to Lewis "eat some humble pie wrapper boy"!

Although in the end Lewis DNF anyway.

I think Max deserve credits for great driving here as well. I believed he was controlling his pace and preserved his tires just enough to finish the race ahead.
Not too much credit though, he's still a (Red) bull in a china shop.

    Another podium for "sleepy" Kimi!

Hamilton fanboy steward must be desperately trying to penalize vettel haha

    Kimi: “It protects my head.”

I'm going to read back the entire thread and take all blame for all I've written since qualifying and Seb's penalty. Then I'll post something more contsructive.

SO HAPPY FOR THIS 2-3 and TWO Merc DNFs!!! SO HAPPY! Greatest 2-3 in modern times!

BUT give me at least this, I believed in our race pace on this track. I believed all along.

    Both merc lost engine IMO
they will cover up by saying transmission and hydraulic but given the late introduction of this spec to me they have pushed the envelope too far

Awesome job by both drivers. Kept it clean, didn't get caught up in any crash at the start. And Mercedes' new engine obviously not up to the challenge still.
