We should be happy with the result. This is one of Seb's bogey track and being .044 sec of the pole time with Merc special tire and LH home track advantage bodes well in the race. Hoping for a clean start tom, we should get a tow and perhaps pip Lewis after the first lap.

Nice stuff from VET and RAI. I never expect much since this is a track that has long never been kind to Ferrari, and STILL... they can get so close to HAM. Seriously, nice job and well done.

Awesome qualifying effort from Seb & Kimi.
Awesome performance from our boys!!!! We actually had the speed if not for S1 but Vettel less than half a tenth away on a Merc track with Kimi third and dumping the other Merc to 4th...super happy!

Last year we were more than half a second away!

So a Mercedes pole, but not by much on a Mercedes track in a formula engineered by Mercedes.

Autosport forums are Merc/Hamilton fanboy central right now. Need to remind myself to only read that forum after a race.

This is a great result for our team. Be happy for once! Coming into this weekend the common opinion was we’d be .5 of a second behind! Here we under with both cars under 1 tenth behind. People are already saying Seb “messed up” sector 1. Ummm, no. He did a great job. This is a great result. Some people will just never be happy.

I think pole is there to grab for both the Ferrari drivers that’s great.

Kimi did a great job. Hope he does the same & be a champion once again.

I’m waiting ferrari 3rd spec engine to be more powerful interms of HP..!! That would give entire grid a cry, especially ham.

Already today he was asking for a tow on the radio for the final lap

2018 British GP - Practices and Qualifying

Mercedes was never special. They had a 2 year head start in the beginning of the turbo era due to ma-Fia help. That’s all.

What do you mean?! I am more than happy to have Ferrari 2nd and 3rd. I meant I could not watch LH praising about everything for this pole
