Nothing will happen with Lewis, he always gets a free pass.

Plz bro, don’t make it a issue. We are in a forum cheering for ferrari, not to bash ourselves when we have a bad weekend.
Sometimes greig might, other times it’s you or me. Mistakes are bound to happen.

Let’s hope Lewis gets a penalty.

Tell me one thing, I think Lewis too knew may be he’s about to get penalty that’s why he pushed n FLs to gain gap ahead of other Ferrari ???

If he gets a penalty he will say it is because of his skin colour and Trump is bad.

I request you to stay calm..!! No one has personal grudge on anyone. Be cool & enjoy the weekend.
Next race, we gonna beat mercs for sure.

One more thing to add, this season championship will go down to the wire it also emphasises their team mates performances. Bottas & kimi will play crucial role in deciding the championship. What do u reckon???

If the switch happened earlier, Seb would have had a chance to push with fresh tires on a dry track. Some of us here were clamoring for a switch two laps after Seb's pit stop. When they finally did after what seemed to be an eternity, I commented that it was too little too late. Sure we don't have sophisticated tools and precise data that the guys on the pit wall have, but it was obvious at that time that Seb couldn't stay behind Kimi any lap longer because Ham was just 3 secs off Vettel even if they have pitted already. When Ham finally pitted for ultras, he was lapping 1.5-2s a lap faster than the lead drivers which prompted Seb to push with old tires on a slippery track. Sure it was slippery for everyone, that's why building a gap to your rival no matter what position he is in is vital in any race, because we will never know what will happen in the race.
I agree that IF the switch was going to happen any way or the other it should have been done earlier. But since it didn't happen when it should both drivers should have held station with Seb keeping 2 seconds to Kimi to save his tyres. Now it looked like Seb was pushing Kimi infront of him to put them both in a difficult situation later. One thing is sure though, had the switch not happened the rest of the race would have been different and Seb would never have been in that perticular moment in time when he binned it. Even if Ferrari may have not won they would have scored more WCC points. I know, hindsight is 20/20 but I really wasn't sure what they did there at the time. Lewis was still going and had a stop to make. Everything happens in real time and everyone is burning off fuel and going through the tyres at the same moment. At that moment there was no danger except for Seb pushing Kimi and driving too close. Ferrari are racing Merc which still is the overall stronger package.

99% sure there will be no penalty. If there was to be a penalty they would have handed it by now

    Homework for the stewards:
What could be the force majeure to be used in hamilton's case:
-the pit engineer changed his mind at least twice in half a second
-hamilton is already emotionally unstable, danger zone
-Ferrari might dangerously extend their lead

    hmm..

If it’s ferrari in that position, then protest would have come from both parties RB (Horner) & mercs (Toto & lauda)

they had a agreement earlier, that they do not give penalty to Hamilton, then Ferrari made protest, and they are investigating that again

    There are clear regulations.

Otherwise no penalty can be given if it is not mentioned in event notes.

Maybe thats why Bottas fell far behind Lewis, Mercedes Camp knowing a timed penalty was coming.

True that. For a moment there, Bottas was neck-and-neck with Lewis then Bottas dropped off and Lewis was really pushing it.

I do think that if Seb had been allowed through sooner his tyres would've been less worn and therefore had more grip when the rain came.
