Mercs went for higher DF Becoz,
    1) S2 sector is long
    2) if they go with lower DF, it will stress their tyres very much in S1&S3. As we know Mercs struggle on SS, US.
Cheer up mates, I have no doubt Seb will overtake Ham at the start!

I was traveling yesterday so I’m a bit out of the loop. Did Bottas get a penalty for the stuff with Vandorne?

Of course not, it's Mercedes, only a reprimand.

You’re right. My bad. He did crash but it was still ok since it’s Mercedes.

Looks like a dry day at Spa, straight head to head race today without the weather variable

Mercedes will be loving the cool conditions today, although saying that it does seem that Pirelli might have helped them with their overheating issue anyway.

Ham is afraid of the start. Rightly so.

Seb needs to play it cautiously though. Ham can afford a tangle, Seb cannot.

Yep, saying Vettel is the favourite, also saying if we don't get him at start we can get him at restarts from any SC's.

Kimi should be a minimum of 3rd/4th by the end of lap 1(hopefully)

This is the perfect opportunity for him to gain a position off the grid in almost 1.5 years

The "merc" powered FI cars are not going to make it easy for him I bet.

He has Grosjean in front and Max behind wouldn't be surprised if he's in the wall on lap 1

Going by results the only thing "Mad " with Max is he's mad he's not in Seb's car. Lewis, Seb, then there's Max! Ferrari, Merc, a Bomb.
