If there is time for that and if the first driver giving a tow already set a good lap time on his first try. Ferrari can't afford starting behind both RBRs just to secure pole as the team has to maximize the fact that Bottas might score less points than normal.

Yeah of course, it all depends on first q3 lap where ham stands & how strong ferrari feel.

I did observe, might be ferrari had more fuel where they were able to do 5Laps on the last set (1warm-up lap, 2nd FL, 3rd cool down lap, 4th FL, 5th in-lap) compared to mercs ham 3Laps (1warm-up, 2nd FL, 3rd in-lap).

Yes, it looked that way. It's great if it's true.

Kimi looks good even though he does'nt have all the Spec 3 components as opposed to Vettel.

So is Bottas going to be penalized for the antics with Stoffel?

Mercedes on softs was as fast as Ferrari on supersofts. That never happened this year, if Vettel can get on the front row, that should be good for Sunday.

Kimi without new components is as fast as vettel...!! What do U say for that ??
Mercs tend to struggle on SS, US as we have seen last year too. They don’t extract much time as others do.
If u read toto or mercs drivers comments you would be know it clearly.

Ferrari F1 fuel supplier Shell says the new mix it has brought to Spa is worth "more than 20%" of performance gained through the Scuderia's latest engine update. [Autosport]

I saw Vet’s FP3 FL onboard once again, he was not pushing to the limit at all. In S2, he did lift a little bit.
I hope in q3, vet & kimi will unleash full pace of that ferrari car.

The stewards have determined that the incident between Vandoorne and Bottas was not intentional or reckless -DECISION: Reprimand for Bottas.

So the Potato gets a reprimand but Seb got a 3 place drop? Oh yeah, no bias here. Move along, nothing to see. Such crap.

Brundle “Hamilton all 4 tyres off the track, but the stewards will turn a blind eye to that”. Of course they will, it’s Golden Rat Boy!

Let’s take this 1-2!! Forza Ferrari

Another thing to keep an eye on, laptime of 1.41.770 which was set by the Porsche 918

Let's show LMP1 cars, F1 cars still rule
