The key word there was 'spare', meaning it's a gearbox that was only in for practice anyway. So all Vettel is really losing is some damp track time.

I sure hope so but this was just fp. Track kept improving so there is no telling what others would have done. Fingers crossed Seb's issue will be sorted before FP2 so he can do some running too

there is no point chasing a wet set up, when race day looks dry. Or even getting knickers in a twist today cos ts wet, and we slow blah blah blah let them run the programes run set up work tonight and wait till Sunday evening to see the results.
