mercs have advantage going into the RussiaGP looking at history lol

    plus their team work
Well, at least Hamilton hasn't won it since 2015. Regardless of where they place, Vettel needs to consistently fight to be ahead of him for the remaining races, and then we'll see what the points look like. Really though, Hamilton needs to bin the car or be taken out for Vettel to really get back in the hunt.

Yes, all those crashes are Kimi and Ferrari's fault....

And Ferrari never enforced team orders and ordered Kimi to move over for Vettel...

The "do or die" approach is pretty much what has gotten Vettel to the situation he is in now. And Vettel fans are creating a scapegoat while ignoring the real issues.

nO, Vettel needs to fight for the WIN at every single race remaining, and if he wins them all then it don’t matter where Two chains finishes

But fir that to happen he needs to approach every single race with a clear head, be somewhat aggressive but not too much cause that’s what gets him in trouble, and then we’ll see what the points tally is at the end of the year.....hopefully in our favour
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

I really don't care about "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" articles.

The simple fact is, which you simply can't grasp it seems, Vettel's costly mistakes in France, Germany and Italy, are the main reasons why he is 40 points behind. There are too many examples of first lap incidents even if you can quibble over which races to include.

totally agree....i know the team has made some mistakes too, but if it wasn't for Vettel's mistakes (that were totally his own fault) he could have had a good lead over Luise....

if he loses the WDC by lets say 20pts or so, he can ONLY kick himself for that

You're right, but I think those expectations are unrealistic and I hope everyone does exactly as you say.

At this crucial point in the season I think it will be a great point in time to look back on at the end of the year and see what we and the other teams did to finish off the season based on the positions we put ourselves in up to this point.

Regardless of the outcome this year, it will be a season of learning for driver and the team in this modern era of racing.

Driver: Do your maximum but plan and manage risk. You want to win every race, but if you want to win the championship you need to manage your risk. Our modern understanding of a great racer is one who focus' on the big picture and doesn't give in to pressure in the moment. Seb is a great racer, we all know that. Some of the passes he has done over the years have been brilliant and are always exciting.. When he is coming up behind a car and you know a battle is about to ensue you know it will be "on the edge of your seat" entertaining. But sometimes the risk is not worth it unfortunately, and we can't fault him for giving it a go, that is Seb. But hopefully he will understand he can still go for these just not every single time, if he wants to win another championship during a competitive season anyways.

Team: A clear number 1 driver sooner in the season should have been part of the driver's contracts from day 1. Fighting your teammate when your car is NOT 2 seconds a lap faster than the others is the best way to give other teams a chance at beating you. This has put pressure on the drivers and what they are capable of.

Poor strategy calls are a clear indication of not knowing your true capabilities.

"Head down, stay calm".. you can say it all you want but so far our team and driver are focused on not being calm: Singapore practice, Italy practice, Belgium quali, etc. were not calm moments for the team

Hopefully we can start NOW on implementing new visions on how we go forward in this sport as a team which will make us a stronger and more unified not just for this season but rolling into next year and the future.

A little bit of luck would help too, and regardless of what has happened to now I am still very excited for this weekend. I will never lose hope in our team, can't wait for the next win, I will be waving our flag.

nice!, seems the second half of the season is still not as productive as the initial first half when it comes to aero updates, so i dont mind borrowing ideas from the top team, others did that to ferrari when they actually had good ideas early on this year

Mercedes have also Brake upgrades. Much wider cooling vents and design. They're leaving no stone unturned till the last GP!

The front wing and endplate slots on the rear wing. We're gonna play with both of them to see which setup is best.

Aside from that, the CAR does'nt really need updates....... (wink wink)

lol second half of the season, seems our well has run dry, we borrowing ideas from merc and mclaren but its better than doing nothing imo, others copied ferrari when we had good ideas but we are falling very far behind to mercs in aero and chassis, so our engine is the only thing that even keeps the car near the top seems mercs are just running away with the points and the better car now, they fixed all their issues too.

Yes, Mercedes Team is just so great. I get it now, after your 7 500 posts I finally get it, Mercedes is great.

I really don`t understand why you are here.

Are you doing some psychological experiment with fans or what, clearly every one can see that what you are doing, question is, why are you doing this.
