    2018 Japanese GP: Race

Windy today and dry. 2 hours to go.

Looking to see how Honda does at it's home race with their new Spec 3 engine.

Did Ricciardo make the wrong move to Renault for 2019? Did Max make the right call to stay with RedBull? Should Mclaren have stuck it out for one more year with Honda? These next few races and 2019 will answer these questions.
It's not how start but how you finish.

#F1: According to Pirelli Soft-Medium is the fastest strategy on paper. #AMuS, #JapaneseGP

Suzuka: Ferrari removed most of its recent aero updates on Friday night. So back to old (pre-Singapore) front and rear wings. Kvyat had confirmed in simulator that old spec was better than new.
Correction re Ferrari at Suzuka: new rear wing and rear suspension were replaced by old versions overnight Friday. Front wing remained the same.

    - so some of our new parts are failing to perform , our data at maranello seems to be off and we are gone down williams & mclarens route of not matching the data shown at the wind tunnels... i guess

That circus from @f1 and liberty don’t care about it, they only will change F1 when merc and Ham have all the races and all the winning record In the pocket. That’s My vision as SF fan. P.S.- MS should be ashamed of those red cars. Oohh, and watching Jean Todt bending to all mighty liberty.

Nothing loose attitude could give better results sometimes. But as a fans we expect more.
Hopefully ferrari would achieve something good out of this race.

MA will never let them race with that attitude, you can tell by how kimi never takes risks even when he has nothing to lose 99% of the time .

what worries me more, is if our data now is all incorrect and all these updates are useless and slower, what can we expect for next year??? somewhere there is a correlation issue and if we developed some parts based on the useless wrong info as of lately we are in big trouble next year

It happens to every team. Few times those updates needs to be fine tuned & need further testing. This is what mercs did last year with their aero upgrade. So no need to panic, as season is over ferrari can try every bit & get more info on it.

probably mix of bad data/slow development/closed loopholes and tons of pressure on everyone has lead the team far off the pace, we missing a strategist that is reliable too
