Actually it's over 81 points. Just a win in Baku and Germany would have given him 52 points over Hamilton and he made many more mistakes

You have to also take away all the points Lewis gained from Seb making mistakes.

You're 100% right. Still, I don't believe the blame lies solely on him. I would be very interested in seeing the exact point difference after all of the math is done.
