So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.
Same old story then, but dare we hope that Binotto has been playing down some small differences which may make the SF90 more competitive and doesn't want to shout about it? It has been reported that they have learned a lot in recent races and now know what some of the problems have been and are addressing them. The design of the front wing was the biggest mistake and not easily rectified, but what if all of a sudden we're back on track, making the tyres work, and can use our 'superior' power unit to the max? Unlikely, I know, and if it rains as predicted, my theories and hopes will go straight out of the window!
I just read that Aldo Costa will come back to Ferrari for next year.Is this true?
I thought we had no upgrades:

An overview of the SF90’s bargeboard region which is now made up of a collection of surfaces that all improve performance and efficiency.
Hockenheim - Upgrades (someone collected them in Reddit)

Same old story from Ferrari....they either bring updates that don’t work, or in this case, NO updates at all....in a way is better to NOT waste money on a car that was a TURD from the beginning of the year....so mind as well save money and try and work hard on next years contender....this year was lost in OZ before it even began...
Sad but true

Unless the money is spent trying to get the cars right , it would be worse. What gets done this year a far as spending on the cars goes to next year. What worked or did not. Don't do it twice! Drivers pay before results ! There's 50 million reasons right there that should be changed. How do you make a multi year contract ? Fans in general don't even know how much the rest of the team big shots get paid. Results don't seem to count there either.
"The aerodynamic updates of Ferrari for Hungary will be seen particularly ahead of the sidepods (front), with solutions that have been validated in the CFD and wind tunnel.
Ferrari also analyzed the reliability of the power unit after the recent failures."

Yet Hamilton was only 0.3s ahead of Max in qualifying. Somehow doesn't add up.
Hey they wanted to go back to the 50's remember .
Hero's come and go, but legends never die!
With the exception of gremlins, the car does look like it has greatly improved, considering where it was in Australia.
Disappointed Since 2010
Good to see something new on the car. The new bargeboard:
Ferrari's latest upgrade gong into Sun. race is Seb !! His confidence is back!
The only way the lack of updates and allowing Red Bull to catch up is acceptable, is if we abandoned this concept and went to an inwash design next year.
The other thing is, if we continue down this development path, LeClerc will continue to be faster than Vettel.
Hopefully Aldo Costa will come and set this thing straight.
