But concern is Leclerc quali pace...! Hope he’s not showing his full pace yet.

Even if Seb be ahead of Bottas by 1 tenth or 2 tenth in FP3, Mercedes can make up for that with their Q3 mode as we saw in Bahrain, the gap was smallest in Q3.

On the same FL ... he had two mistakes. One is S2, other in S3.
I think front end grip is lacking. As this circuit is front-end limited.
    Mercs strength is front-end limited.

Probably not comfortable with car - setup issues maybe. If Vettel's lap was clean, he would be half a second ahead of Leclerc, that is only possible if Leclerc isn't happy with his car.

Agreed, that's why I said it will be nip and tuck. If Seb got that lap right, and was 3 tenths faster, all that would be nullified by the Merc Party Mode.

Yeah, so we still have setup issues, I guess

I think Ferrari's "party mode" is quite decent too. Vettel looks the fastest so far his best lap he lost atleast 0.4tenths made two mistakes. Bottas looking confident, don't know what's up with Hamilton and Leclerc at the moment.

To be precise... neither mercs on full attack mode nor vettel FL.
Problem is their team-mate performances. Lec was slow & same with ham.
Ham’s problem is with Soft tyres.

Yesterday Horner was saying Ferrari running a lot of wing compared to them but still can retain the straight line speed advantage.

How was our sector three time compared to the mercs to FP3 ?

I just read pirelli increased rear tyre pressures by one PSI? I'm a little lost but why the hell does the tyre supplier change it during the weekend and not set the psi before the weekend?

So its Merc downplaying themselves again to make them look good.

Track evolution...or may be we are lacking a bit of front downforce in this front limited track, let's see how Q2 pans out.

Tyre pressure change during weekend & track temp hurt ferrari.
Warm temp doesn’t suit our I think so. Similar to Melbourne

You shouldn't be surprised unless you were expecting Ferrari on pole after seeing yesterday where Ferrari had to be at least 6 tenths faster to fight for pole today. That wasn't the case, now Charles loses a new soft set as well.

Last year could be repeated with Ferrari and Mercedes switched and the gap - half a second.
