Think best we can do this weekend is cheer them on and hope for 2nd row start and a podium.

With the high down force needed here, we go struggle.

A win/podium is a miracle. 4th & 5th are the best we can hope for.

Gearbox failure for Leclerc I think.

Vettel with the new spec: 27.066, 38.876, 34.484
Leclerc with the older spec: 27.294, 38.941,

Vettel fastest in Sector 1, Max fastest in sector 2 and 3: 38.573, 34.387

For me it is a really big surprise that Bottas and Grosjean are driving next year in their current teams.

Bottas, is only there to keep Lewis happy and give him non tea competition or hard racing. As he IS their #2 They cannt afford to bring in a younger and hungrier driver that would want to take the fight to Lewis, and same with drivers like Max. As again, be massive threat to Lewis and his team around him, the harmony. As we seen at Red Bull already this year. I say no more on that.

This is what I’ve been saying so far in SF90, vettel/Leclerc thread.
Ferrari team current Vet/Lec with better understanding can produce good car. So has to win the title.
If the same situation At mercs Lewis/Max or Lewis/Lec... definitely ham would look ordinary.

According to few people here, Max is rubbish

But nonetheless, pretty decent start for Ferrari. Leclerc looked pretty handy on mediums earlier, hopefully no more reliability issues from now on

So it looks like the new parts worked.
When they where both in the track, the one with the updates was fastest.
But I think I saw that Vet after the restart ,had the old ones ???!!!
    FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!

    Yeah ... at first glance.
But FP1 hardly represent true picture. If In FP2/FP3 new updates were bolted on then we can assume they are working as expected.

Charles' car stuck in 4th gear! Was Binotto anywhere near that car before the practice?

    FP2 Quali sim done.

    Sector 1:

    Vet 26.948
    Lec 27.077
    Max 27.080
    Ham 27.210
    Bot 27.363

    Sector 2:

    Max 37.843
    Ham 37.907
    Bot 38.350
    Vet 38.496
    Lec 38.784

    Sector 3:

    Ham 33.627
    Max 34.024
    Vet 34.101
    Bot 34.001
    Lec 34.088

Ham and Max are on different level, they are beyond our reach. But we can qualify ahead of Bottas and Albon, with a perfect lap.

Hamilton more than a second faster on long runs, Leclerc faster than Albon and matching Max, Vettel a bit slower but has pitted, so pretty sort stint from him. Bottas on mediums and lapping slower.

Vettel now on mediums lapping low-mid 1m46, Max on hards with similar lap times. Ham and Lec still on softs, Ham is doing high 1m44 to low 1m45, Leclerc on 1m47's.

So unless reliability stuck, an easy sunday stroll for Hamilton. And Hamilton pits...

If we are lucky we'll finish half a minute behind Hamilton
