Please God not another Merc 1-2, we can but hope that our updates might unlock the car's potential but I feel the team are letting too much technical info escape into the media and expectations will be running higher than ever. The pressure is on, and that's an understatement!

    same pattern as usual?
FP1 is not reflective of true pace, then Mercs turn it up in FP2 and 3.
then qualy is between Ham and Bot, but this time Ham gets pole and wins race

    Yes, maybe, no, but...

Hamilton: No more gifted wins to Bottas
The five-time world champion said after Bottas won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the team's fourth successive one-two finish, that he had been "too friendly" at the start and "basically gave it to him".

Hamilton made clear to reporters at the Spanish Grand Prix on Thursday that Bottas would have to fight hard for position from now on.

"Ultimately, the core goal is for the team to finish at the top and I'm a team player," he said.

"We're not going to be touching (cars), that’s for sure. But in terms of giving up positions, that won’t happen again," added the 34-year-old.

I believe Lewis 100% , Merc had to let Bottas have a taste of victory so now he will do what's good.

2 cars with 2 different aero setups in these FP's.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Was thinking the same. After all the play the butler for Lewis. Sure Merc have said to give Bottas few wins/poles to say thankyou.

May watch this race. ELMs is on same time on Sunday.

If Merc takes a 1-2, again. The season could be over already this weekend. Hate to say that, but be so so hard to turn this gap around.

I agree. So, Bottas will not win any race anymore in F1. If that happens, then he has no excuses anymore.

Isn't Pirelli the most important Mercedes butler?

Preseason was under cold temps regarding the tyres.

So we're back at the same track under normal temps with same tyres.

1-2 for us confirmed, we looks ominous, dominant.

    Bravo Seb.

it's only FP1, so the times are miles off pole time obviously.

Again losing in crucial S3, we are lacking mechanical grip.

Bottas floor off in the garage. Possible leakage.
