This is going to be a difficult race to watch. Right now, the best we can hope for is to keep Gasly in P6.
Hamilton does a 1:11.118...and Verstappen is in the garage with a reported leak so no time yet. Vettel is .763 off the pace...We shouldn’t be surprised but we are in for another tough weekend.

yes, Mercs 6 x 1-2, that is something, only if they do some driver mistake, that is only thing that they don`t get P1 and P2
Based on what we saw in the last race where Ferrari was weak in S3, this is going to be one of the toughest race for us.

I'm here to stir up some positive energy! i believe that all the new bits and pieces they brought to monaco was tested today. Saying this, they're gonna send the info back to Italy. Then they will perfect it in the simulator and by tomorrow qualy, we'll be 3rd and 4th on the grid.
Then bottas will take out hamilton at the first corner, and we'll romp home to a magnificent victory!!!...........Not bad hey!!

Vettel said they tried a lot of things today but nothing worked.
I know it's only FP1-2 but that looks worrying and I fear we are again going to get a Merc 1-2 which is so depressing and annoying. I only hope and cross my fingers that Hamilton and bottas crash on race day. (Note: I don't wish them hurt, only out)
No way so many people were wrong pre season. These types of tyres were used 3 times last year and pace difference between Mercs and the rest the same as now. Its the tyres. Everyone agreed to them though and should of learnt from them last year. Car is better than the Red Bull problem is Ferrari aim for the stars trying to beat Merc when at this stage should be focusing on 3 and 4, weather the tough start as whatever needs fixing will take time. As they do not seem to know the issue they cannot start designing next years car. So important to find how to work the tyres even if delays starting next years car.
Thiis is getting alot of attention from F1 photo journo's. W10's pushrod "linkage" to the wheel hub. IMHO, there's probably more at the back but that area disappears under the engine cover/engine/gearbox area.

Mercedes is shortening the wheelbase of their car with this trick. They are lifting the suspension arm and moving the wheel toward the sidepods, making the wheelbase shorter, added with rear wheel steer to help turn the car. The outside wheel stays the same or move out slightly, increasing the width of the car giving them a wider car so better center of gravity. Its clever but illegal. I dont know how they are getting away with it.
