Hamilton vs Charles's soft tyre lap (before Mag's crash)

    Sector 1: 19.384 vs 19.635

    Sector 2: 22.624 vs 22.666

But Ferrari is faster than Mercedes in sector 3 by 2-3 tenths, so it would've been close

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

But hang on, if Mag needs a repair (which is pretty certain) and starts from pit lane, Mad Max will start the race from P10 and free choice of tyres...

RB team already spoiled his strategy. Medium tyres they didn’t have the pace which they used.
In terms is softs yes he does have. But soft tyres does last at max 7-10laps under these track temp.
That’s why teams went with Mediums in Q2.

Nice to see Verstappen say "that's Formula 1" instead of throwing his toys from the crib.

If we take pole here, then we can expect few more from ferrari at other couple of tracks.

It's fine. All we need is a Vettel or Leclerc blowout in Q3. We all know that wouldn't happen to the Mercedes.
