Bacause I'm pretty sure that I saw Lec on S2 being 0,5 slower then Ham , where Vet where only 0,060

Most important thing is RW on Vettel’s car is pretty big. Still fastest on Straights. Means that Ferrari PU is monster.

Yes, that's also true. Seb's first sector on his last lap was amazing. I think he actually narrowly beat Lewis S1 on that run.

Looking at that starting grid, this race has the ingredients for quite a spectacle.

Mercs turned their engines down from AMuS.

Strolls Spec 2 engine that failed is being shipped to England for inspection.

Sector times, last try in Q3. I was wrong, Lewis was faster in both S1 and S2 but Seb was so close that his S3 was more than enough to get pole.

Last year to change the spec which was the proposal from mercs.
Ferrari & RB agreed to that, that’s where the whole thing went wrong.

Now this season ferrari & RB asking FIA to revert back to old spec.

Binotto to Seb: "We needed it. You needed it. Our people needed it."

Binotto: "Mercedes is still faster than us, but I'm happy with today's result. It's going to be a tough race with the rising temperatures and the tyre degradation..."

Q: Are you starting your singing career? (for the team radio)

Vettel: No chance! I don't know what I was doing, I don't really remember it was just coming out! Was it that bad?

Q: No! What will you do tomorrow?

    Vettel: Hopefully more singing!

Stop the press attention totto wolf Lewis Hamilton is human do you understand.Seriously the man is power hungry .It's probably only the 2nd time this year that Merc has been pushed Lewis was under the pump and he new that pressure can do this to human beings totto capish.

    Just what Seb needed.
Maybe now he will start to believe he can do it.
Hopefully Charles will have a good race too.

    Correction

AMuS - Toto Wolff said Mercedes will not turn down the power of its new engines after one of the Phase 2 engines blew up at Lance Stroll and also brought the MGU-K to run.

The power unit will be flown back to England for inspection. A first suspicion was directed to a problem with the installation. The engine had been removed and reinstalled for check after the first day of practice.

Great qualifying; think LEC had a bit more there but I'll take what we have. Hoping for an even better race result. Hope Seb is able to dig and take care of that P1 at the start and Charles should take it to Lewis immediately--he might very well be thinking the long game and won't take unnecessary risks. That pit wall better be awake. I'd just like for us to have a positive weekend.

I get the feeling there will be a SC at some point, especially with the grid being mixed up as it is. I hope Ferrari will be ready for it.
