No one at Ferrari has the testicular fortitude to stand up to the FIA. Teams boycotted the USGP in 2005 on safety grounds. Ferrari should boycott the French GP on political ones. A race or two without Ferrari and Liberty Media/FIA will have a full on fan revolt on their hands. I bet a lot can be accomplished by this, not only a statement about the BS we just saw in Canada but possibly forcing the change back to the thicker tread tire that Ferrari and RBR want.
If that doesn't work, there is always the Sicilian Mafia and some cement shoes for some stewards. Just sayin' LOL
None of those commentators or former F1 drivers have seen the telemetry the stewards have been studying yesterday before giving the penalty.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
So a flick of the wrist after coming off of a curb constitutes a penalty? Did you see the official penalty write-up? Forcing Hamilton off track was the statement made. Really? If he was forced off track he would have hit the wall. Another point to note was how quickly they came to that decision. When anything has to do with Merc/Hamilton they wait 20 + laps before making a decision. #Farce

Even Damon Hill twittered that his wife screamed in front of the tv set that it was ******ing racing. According to Damon
they later had a discussion about swearing in the living room
Nico Rosberg wiped the floor with Seb's racing and behaviour during and after the race.

"The movement to straighten the wheel, which put the Ferrari into the path of Hamilton's Mercedes, is believed to be key to the unanimous decision by the stewards to punish Vettel."
Rejoining the track unsafely is one thing but there is also what appears to happen then: stewards seem to feel Vettel tried to squeeze Hamilton.

As linked before it is all in there:

Vettel vs Ham ...
Vettel has two slides
1) back of the car slides away, which caused over steer n got onto the grass.
2) when he rejoined the track, there was another slide with front end of the car.
"The stewards examined slow motion footage of Vettel's actions from the moment that he had regained control and started steering his car - and felt the evidence showed that he could have made different choices that would have been within the rules.
The footage clearly captures Vettel correcting an oversteer moment as he rejoins the track - which is shown by a sharp steering wheel movement to the right.
Shortly after that, Vettel has sorted the oversteer and begins steering to the left to follow the direction of the circuit - suggesting he is now under control.
But a split moment later, rather than keeping to the left, Vettel is shown to release the steering wheel - which allows his car to drift to the right, cutting off the route that Hamilton would have taken had he had clear space.

On board footage of the Vettel incident also shows his head turning towards the mirrors in the moment when he is drifting out - suggesting he knew where Hamilton was."
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
"cutting off the route that Hamilton would have taken had he had clear space"
"there was likely enough room to have allowed Hamilton through on the right"
Where would he have passed through? What route? Off-track? Would that not be deemed gaining an advantage?
Seems to me that they just wanted Hamilton to win. Easy.

This what i'm referring to in my earlier post. At no point ham was ahead or beside seb car, he was just at rear end of his car. Now while correcting Steering wheel on 2nd slide, vettel car was moving to right side. At this point, ham was also moving further right where all 4 wheels of his car are of the track & then continued to attack vettel. Isn't that called gaining advantage?
You know the stewards messed up big time when most if not all drivers and ex drivers with no vested interest in Ferrari thinks its wrong.
To me, it doesn't matter if Vettel made a mistake or not, very often drivers make minor mistake and get away with it.
This was nothing more than a racing incident, and the stewards made a very bad, misguided call, costing us our first win of the season.
Someone should be held accountable for this
Vettel moving to the right does not leave much alternative for Hamilton but to go right, too - unless he wishes to crash into Vettel.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
You tell me:
According to the stewards Vettel made a steering movement to the right after he got the car back in control knowing Hamilton was there.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
Just ignore the Kimi fans they are still bitter

I do not think information of a video is on the same level as the telemetry from an F1 team.
Well, there is always 2020.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
All this happend in a split of a second. Seb just did what every experienced driver would do. Correct the car and make it to the path. To tell me that he had time to steer it correctly, avoid the collision with wall and deliberatelly block diva, one has to be dilussional!!!
This was just blatand and brutal robbery!!!
