Let's all be happy with a Ferrari on pole with a talent that Ferrari have. There is always a breath of fresh air and an exitment throughout the f1 world when a Ferrari is in pole position fingers crossed now for the win so every one just strap your selves in.As for drivers going and coming we can only speculate and have fun doing it just like a game of chess with interesting moves.

Hopefully softs is the right decision... In my gut I feel its not though
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
    Kimi: “It protects my head.”

It should be easy for vettel till no.5.... then top4 comes into picture.
As he starts on softs, should pass anyone on 2,3,4 positions. From then on he should look after his tyres.
Hope there’s a safety car for him.

Seb has a really good chance to get P3-P2, first Gasly, Gio and Kimi that should go fast like 2-3 laps, next Ham and Norris same here 2-3 laps, then Bot and Max and all the time in the world, looks good

Well this should be interesting with the grid we now have after HAM's penalty, for once he got what was due. Seb was very generous towards his pit crew when they couldn't get him out into Q3 and it must have been pretty crushing for him after being so competitive all weekend, hopefully he can make up some places on the soft tyre if it lasts long enough. Likewise Charles will have to make his softs last as long as he can, great effort from the team and hope the strategy pays off, we deserve some of HAM's luck for once. Forza ragazzi!

As long as Charles is leading after the first lap, I don't think softs are going to be a issue here. Austria not that hard on tyres, last year Magnussen did 28 laps on ultra softs and finished P5, and this year's tyres are a bit more durable than last years.

Like it happened last year on this very track when he overtook Hamilton like a boss with old tyres and slower car?

I think Ferrari knows pretty well about both Alonso and Vettel's capabilities. And most importantly, out of Alonso and Vettel, they know which driver got close to winning the championship with Ferrari.
Yes, Ferrari knows Vettel's capabilities which is why he is still at Ferrari. Sergio Marchionne said in 2017 that Vettel can stay at Ferrari for as long as he wants.

You are dreaming. Unless there’s a good safety, Vettel is finishing 5th

FIA must have really been cornered this time to give that penalty to Ham.
They are now planning ways to give the win to Lewis anyway, maybe a fake jump start penalty for Charles?

Fortunately for Vettel, Sergio missed all his ballet solo's in 2018. I don't think Marchionne would've been too pleased to see our star driver spinning like a ballerina on track. Sergio was ruthless and I'm pretty sure he would've blamed Vettel solely for losing the WDC to Hamilton, and rightly so.

And another stat/fact that Sergio would've agreed with, Alonso, got close to winning the championship on 2 occasions, and he never had the fastest car. Vettel on the other hand, even with the fastest car, never got close to win the championships with Ferrari. Those are facts, everything else nothing but useless bickering from Vettel fanboys as such yourself.

Prove that Ferrari was the fastest car in 2018.

start will be exciting, Bottas is hungry to capitalize now when Ham is behind, so that could end with the crash maybe with Max, also Norris is sure pumped up with adrenaline and maybe too hungry too, so another potential risk for crash, Max wants to win and there could be some risk for crash too and he has not crashed a long time, Hamilton disappointed and maybe trying too much and then another youngster Gio
yeah could be much drama at the start, hopefully not, but it is different grid this time than usual
I am just hoping Charles can keep P1, it should be easy win after that

No matter who has the fastest car lady luck plays a part. Let's hope she favours us to-morrow. After all we are overdue.
