So everyone what would happen to Leclerc starting on soft while others are on medium? Is there any possibility of softer lasting longer and better than medium?

Sucks that Seb will be forced to start on Softs now from P10.

    Slap on the wist.

It's not like they have taken a win away from Hamilton. They took a win away from us at Canada.

Good track to overtake though so hopefully up with the Mercs pretty quickly, but also bring it's on dangers when Seb has to overtake lol

What is your problem with Seb?

You are not one of those who wants Alonso back are you? Alonso did nothing for our development and lost the championship in the last race for us twice.

3 place grid penalty as expected. No because Hamilton did something terrible, it wasn't a text book blocking, but because F1 needs to be consistent with penalties.

He makes too many mistakes, what Alonso done is irrelevant to Seb.....would swap Seb for Alonso tomorrow though right enough.

Since Seb is super developer who does it all, do you think he could develop something so we can get the tyres to work at every track, I means surely that will be easy for him????? Also if Seb is developing everything then now come he did not notice all the upgrades were not working from Germany onwards haha you talk some rubbish.

Great pole for Charles really happy for him!!!

Crashtappen on P2 now due to Ham +3P. Worries me he might go banzia into the first corner again knowing on pure speed he can't win.

Max seems a lot more sensible now, so not as much as a worry as it would have been in the past.

Yet still took the championship fight to the last race on two occasions, something Vettel failed to achieve even with great cars.

Except no one at Ferrari wants Alonso. There is a thing with Seb that every team wants him. Recent rumors had it that Renault want him, Mercedes wants him since forever, Red Bull waiting for his return and Ferrari not allowing that to happen.

If a poll is conducted in Ferrari factory on Vettel vs Alonso, it will be an overwhelming result in favor of Vettel.

When Nico retired why did Merc not take him??? because he offered did he not LOL so calm down with more made up stuff. Renault want him? well he surely has peaked now right haha. So you are saying Seb wants to go to Red Bull but we won't allow him...really that's what you are saying?? Seb does not want to be at Ferrari.....

And you might well find Binotto would take Alonso no problem, but you carry on making things up as usual.

He can only help develop the engine and chassis. Pirelli make the tyres for the Mercedes car.

Unlike some people here, at least Ferrari people know who is the ultimate driver and it is not Alonso.

Overwhelming in Vettel's favour? based on what? another one of your well-thought prediction? like "Mercedes will get pole today" or "Ferrari needs to be ahead by 0.6sec in FP2 to fight for pole"?

I think Ferrari knows pretty well about both Alonso and Vettel's capabilities. And most importantly, out of Alonso and Vettel, they know which driver got close to winning the championship with Ferrari.

He can develop the suspension to work the tyres, or maybe some new brake rims etc....so why has he not?

That's true but it has been a while since he's back on the first starting row.
