Dirty Lewis blocking but penalties don't apply to him.

Mediums seem to be working better than the softs right now

Max is fast here. He might be a real threat this weekend.

If we play our cards right, we'll have 3 sets of soft tyres for Q3. Here, it's very easy to do 3 laps in Q3.

Why would we start on softs...
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
    Kimi: “It protects my head.”

Well....if you look at FP2 long runs, softs were holding quite nicely, there was hardly any drop off.

I don't think starting on softs or medium tyres gonna matter much, it will be another 1-stop race tomorrow.

Yes, and maybe there is not so much difference with softs and mediums here

That Hamilton block is blatant sitting on the apex while Kimi is on a flying lap should be a slam dunk 3 place penalty

no, it doesn't matter if they both get through. Last year, Vettel got a 5 place drop for barely holding up Sainz, who got through, and even said Vettel shouldn't have been penalized.

    Lewis needs a penalty.

I'm okay with the idea of starting on the softs, given the degradation. But I think it only makes sense if you're on pole. I'd rather split our strategies.

0.7s was the official difference between softs and mediums and 1.2s between softs and hards. Of course even those are estimates.
