Watching it live on tv ,I thought I saw that Lac was purple in S1 but not in S2 and was just 0,02 faster till S2.And he lost pole for 0,08 So he lost like 1 tenth in S3??!!!
Didnt see how faster he was in S1 and how much he lost in S2.

If it’s technical issue then fine, but if it’s another mistake. I don’t accept it.

    Well done Charles.
Seb should have retired right after he crossed the finish line last year at Silverstone.

Congrats to Charles, he's doing great.

Not worry mate. It's just baffling to see Ferrari's idiotic strategy race after race...

No. Generally he’s quick in quali. But this sudden drop of performance is questionable.
I think Canada result he’s taking too much. Also from his recent statements gives an indication that he would retire soon. Else he will loose more reputation for sure.

If u consider ferrari performance in FP2, their Medium tyre took heavy beating.
For which they might not have found a solution.

That is the only reason I find it.

You were watching the time from previous lap. Both Ham and Bot improved in S3 during their final run.

    Final lap: Bot 27.5 in S1, Ham 27.6 and Charles 27.3. Sector 2: Bot 34.5, Ham 34.4, Lec 34.4. Sector 3: Ham 23.0, Bot 23.1, Lec 23.3

Lap time comparison from last year is out and once again, Ferrari is at the bottom of the charts with least gain. Mercedes 2nd from bottom.

I agree, there seems no sense in both starting on the softs knowing that they won't last long, maybe it will help us at the start but then what....???? Perhaps it will play into our hands but I'm not sure how to read it, feeling the need to pit Charles too early in Austria was a mistake so I don't understand the thinking behind the decision to go the same way again. Seb really didn't perform today, no excuses. If Charles is going to be more aggressive, I wish him a big chunk of luck!

You lot dont get it. The title was lost races ago. No point in Seb fighting a losing battle. He's fighting for the long term. He did the same in the second half of 2016 and it paid off for 2017 as we built a better car. He did the same in 2014 to join our team.

He's losing the battle to win us the war.

Probs the dumbest thing I've read all day
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
    Kimi: “It protects my head.”

Charles should have a great chance from the clean side of the grid to pass Hammy at the start and then the whining on the #44 radio will begin and Lewis could easily self-destruct when things aren't going his way as usual. I could easily see a situation in which Bottas wins before Verstappen and Leclerc defeats Hammy in third provided he gets off the line well. I doubt he'll have much of a chance to hold off Max all day at the moment, but being in front of Lewis really would be a game-changer given that Mercedes are rather apathetic on long runs in general last few races.

Or, Bottas capitulates at the start and virtually stalls in front of Charles and Lewis gets another free victory

As for Vettel, I think he's looking forward to going home. Completely crushed by Leclerc today. Either he hurries up right away, or his future in the team provided he continues into 2021 is being "the new Kimi" for 1/3 his current salary.

Career wise, Vettel is living in a nightmare at the moment.

Things can change though, who knows tomorrow he might have an excellent race...
