Yeah, actually from one side I’m excited we can see good race starting from back.
Lec & vettel charge, at the front Ham vs Max. So this gonna be exciting race.

Yeah... but they got it wrong on Friday.
Also by race start time showers are not expected. Fingers crossed

Rumors saying that Vettel could start from pitlane due change of specification.
Also mechanics work on Norris car for battery change.

    @Albert Fabrega

Vettel will also get a new control electronics which also exceeds his limit for the season. So a penalty for him. But he’s at the back anyway, so rather academic.

And Räikkönen has had a engine, turbo and MGU-H fitted, but stewards’ report says this is “in conformity with the regulations” (it’s within his allowance) so sounds like he keeps fifth on the grid

Isn't the technical director's job the way the car develops? It literally is. Binotto screwed up the front wing design. What does Ferrari do? Promotes him in a role he has no experience in. The team principle is in charge of the team every race weekend assuring nothing goes wrong. How do we asses Binotto in his new role? Considering the cars are not even leaving the garage, it doesn't look that good, does it?

No he would not have designed the front wing, Arrivabene had no experience of leading a F1 team, neither did Todt etc etc not sure where you are going with this now.

Bad you are comparing ferrari with Williams..!! Ferrari is the only team that is consistently threatened mercs every year.
Williams 4-5sec off top teams, financially bankrupt, poor management.
Where was McLaren last 4-5years? Now they are getting Into groove, it’s the time & belief in the team. They too made lot of changes. Still they have DNFs.
Do you believe we are threatening Mercedes this year? 10 races, 9 Mercs wins, 1 RBR win. We are getting close to maybe the most dominant season ever.

He was risponsable for the front wing.

Apart from 2014-16 season we were the only team to threaten Mercs.
    RB had lucky wins.

This year, we were unlucky. Else we would have had 4wins by now

TD is reporting to Team principal. Along with TD, aero chief, Engine head these 3 are separate entities in Ferrari where they co-ordinate & report to TP. You are missing that point.

According to your posted article. James Key TD for which everything was reported to him.

If things just cannot get any worse - they will. My prediction for the second half of the 2019 season.

No we would have not. They were all Ferrari mistakes or driver mistakes. Bad luck is when you don't get the lottery numbers right or you lose the coin flip.

That's like saying you got 7 at math not because of your calculation errors, but because you were unlucky...

So you call Ham’s pole down to his own credit or luck ?

Math calculation error it’s down to how you prep yourself & mentor/coach etc. when you should expected to get only 5 n got 7 or whatever above 5 it’s down to luck.

Well, the radar suggests rainfall will continue at least until the start of the race, by using Ventusky's global satellite radar with the tendencies added into it. Looks like there might be intermittent drizzle all throughout the race.

Why else do younger/newer Ferarri fans think nearly all of us older tifosi adore Michael Schumacher as we do? Because he and his 'Dream Team' were the ones who completely turned Ferrari around and made them into a winning powerhouse again. That's why we love Schumi so much. He took us right out of the dark, dark days of (most) of the 80s and 90s. But for a few positive blips with the likes of Villeneuve, Pironi, Mansell and Prost as our drivers, they were mostly heartbreaking times to be a tifoso.

And you're also right about the knee-jerk reactionaries on this board who instantly pounce on those fans who want to criticize Ferrari. There's something almost cultish about the way they expect us to all just be constantly 'positive' and 'upbeat' about the team - a team which is undoubtedly in crisis. It's frankly infantile and annoying.

They deserved it, Mercedes gave him speed and RELIABILITY.

So as per your equation if ham doesn’t take pole, then it’s down to mercs who they wantedly didn’t give speed & reliability.

LOL did you actually read it? Some bits that you might have missed

If that sounds a lot like a management job rather than spending all day tinkering with racing cars, it is. It's impossible for one person to design the whole car, or even have nuts-and-bolts knowledge of every last millimetre of it.

Binotto is not a car designer, once again.

But it's the persistent, militant Pollyannas on this board who get to be tiresome for critical (and longtime) fans like Stefa and myself.
Grazie for your comment, we can all lose the sense of reason in the heat of the moment and when disappointment prevails time after time but most of us have learnt to accept that F1 goes in cycles and there's usually a dominant team or maybe two, we just seem to be able to make a hash of things lately when we have the best opportunities. But such is Ferrari and it gets into our veins! Seb has just managed a comeback and P2 in Germany, Charles was going great until he slid off, so a mixed day for us and the team but what's new?! Better than 2 DNFs anyway. Time for a an aperitivo to celebrate Seb's return to some sort of form. Salute!
