With this kind of race pace, no matter of how good the quali would be , there is no way they can get a win.

Long run pace not looking that good, Both Merc lapping faster than us.

p.s: All Mercedes powered cars are on their spec-3 engine and Ferrari definitely running a much older spec-2. So it may explain Mercedes's long run pace advantage

Well Vettel is definitely struggling, on softs started on high 1m50's but 8 laps later he was lapping between high 1m52 to low 1m53

Leclerc only did 5 laps on softs, started on low 1m51 but his lap before the tyre change was mid 1m50.

Vettel on medium, started on high 1m50 but 5 laps later lapping between high 1m51-low 1m51

Leclerc on medium was lapping consistently between low 1m50-high 1m50

Pole will only ever work for Ferrari when we have the race pace to back it up, it's no good if the tyres are going off so quickly even if we managed to achieve a front-row start. Cooler temperatures for Sunday probably won't help either, but to see Charles and Seb quickest in both FP sessions is encouraging, if not to be taken too seriously. I wish I could feel more optimistic.

Quali looks front row lock out for ferrari.
But in race pace, it’s 3rd best car. Don’t think ferrari can keep that front row position during the race or are they conservative with the Engine... time will tell.

As we can see, Merc was faster. But they are running their updated spec-3, so it may explain the advantage.

Seems that Ferrari can produce the fastest lap right out of the box and then they fall back alot!

Taxi's are slower on their first fast lap, but then the next 3 laps they are faster then us so racepace and tyre management is in their corner sadly.

Hope we can fix this so we don't destroy our tyres and after 5 laps are following instead of leading the race.

I feel a sense of déjà vu. I look forward to tomorrow when they'll be fastest in P3, with team proceeding to forget to connect the turbo on one car and the fuel system on the other again. In all seriousness though, the lack of cornering speed is still a very significant concern. Whatever suspension changes have been made aren't being reflected in the lap times. It will cost them the race.

Why in have the feeling that we stop working in this year car races before??!! I now that next year regulations are almost the same as this year ,BUT we will have a completely different concept because this years was the wrong one. So we realy dont learn a lot actually developing the SF90 and put all resources for the new concept . I say all this because I cant believe that we are actually developing this year's car and we see tiny developments and staying still performance wise!!!!!!!
