I say all this because I cant believe that we are actually developing this year's car and we see tiny developments and staying still performance wise!!!!!!!
i'm wiht you on this one and have to agree......i feel that this year is a lost cause, and no matter how hard the team is trying to improve, we see very little rewards ON TRACK....(maybe it's the whole concept of the chassis being VERY efficient and is really hard to work around it and ADD more usable downforce, who knows i'm NOT and aerodynamicist).......hopefully in the backround they are working flat out to produce something along the lines of the Merc and Ref fools solution, a chassis that generates a LOT more downforce, even if we will lose a bit of straight line speed....we have a really STORNG engine so it should be NO problem in that area

what is going to be a problem is that, both merc and red fulls will have a full year under their belt working with a chassis thta has more downforce to begin with compared to US that will be starting fresh.....but time will tell
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Secretly Ferrari have already started on next year's car.Its on a no need to talk basis. The sf90 if only it could handle curves and bends better ever so slightly Ferrari would challenge at all circuits. We loose temp at these parts and down force which effects our overall race pace now that's frustrating. The race will be interesting no doubt we will lead down the strait it is the rest that's the Achilles heel.

What is basically the issue with our cars and the apparent lack of downforce. Is it just related to the particular wing design? If so, could the older wing be used to make up the deficit? Or is it a more substantial, deeper problem that would require a major design change?

The lack of race pace is really significant compared to MB at least. RB also seems to gain in the latter stages of the race whereas our cars become increasingly slower.

What will make for a great race for us fans will be our drivers pushing their cars to the very limit , a podium spot or nothing mentality. O K , if Charles starts on pole, let him be a little more careful !

What is secret in that? Every team works on next year's car by this time every year. All teams are working on 2021 concepts as well.

As I said before, in terms of raw pace Leclerc is up there with the best. But he needs to calm down a bit, and most importantly Ferrari needs to stop making mistakes

Everything up until now pointless. Lets see what happens when Merc turn up their engine for Q3.

Probably will be a coin toss between Ferrari and Merc for pole.
