Ham's 2nd lap on mediums 1m44.405, Leclerc 1m44.378. So we're a bit closer on medium tyres.

    No no Vettel would win.

This engine and 2017 car and would be a dream come true. The 2017 was the best chassis in the field. Seb taken the pole by nearly 0.5s that year in Singapore. Bring peak Seb back.

So we are almost a second slower than last year's kimis FP2 time. Is it due to traffic ??

NO, is just our car is horrible for downforce in comparison to last year.........then again we knew that at a circuit like this our car would be weak.....just like we were in Monaco and Hungary
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Sochi could be good we could be a monster in S1. And on that straight in s2, will probably lost at least 0.3s to the opposition in tight s3.

So 3rd place is on grab for anyone. Vet/Lec/bottas.
If it’s ferrari then it’s a good result. Unless SC it’s a big trouble for ferrari to get that 1st or 2nd place.

Well long run wasn't too bad, I think the upgrades definitely worked. Long run pace was similar to Max and Bottas and faster than Albon. It's just Hamilton's long run pace that looked to be on a different level, I don't think he is beatable here.

On short run, I don't know what happened to our sector 2 time, no way we're 0.7-1 sec slower than Red Bull in that sector. We're up there with Red Bull and Bottas in sector 3 and fastest in sector 1. Hamilton had an advantage of 0.3-0.4 sec in sector 3.

Both Lec and Vet had to abandon their first lap on softs due to the traffic. So aborted lap-slow lap-quali sim lap-Leclerc pitted, Vettel stayed out-another attempt from Vettel with an improvement of 0.3 sec.

Looks good for quali, if ferrari can fine tune the set-up & find some balance then We are good for quali.
Updates seem to work. Good to see that. If they can develop the car through out the season with such upgrades we should be in good shape for next season.

    Pole: Ham/Max
    Race : Anything can happen.

I doubt anything can happen. I'm afraid we'll be fighting for third place throughout the race while the top two dissapearing into the distance.

Such thing is expected. But a SC can throw lot of surprises. Becoz track position is the key here. Can’t overtake easily.

Tomorrow we have some fine tuning and hopefully we make some progress. If that happens then Seb could be there with Max and Lewis in Quali.

Haha, Lewis' Mercedes took a 5.000€ fine for that their fuel was 11°C colder then the ambient temperature.

Who wining about Ferrari's engine but cheating themself, bunch of hypocrites!

Also heard that Leclerc gearbox failure was due to a lot of metal in the bridge which upsets an internal sensor.
Ofcourse Mercedes got this one wrapped in some metal. They know this and we didn't mmm.

Yeah ... Monaco & Singapore are the tracks where high chances of SC.
Anything is possible. Thing is who will be in a better position to take advantage of such situation.
If it’s ferrari I’ll be very happy. We had lot of bad luck this year Bahrain, Baku, French, Canada.
Hope Singapore GP gives us a hat-trick of wins. that would be awesome.

#AMuS Vettel believes he could have gone half a second faster if it weren't for the traffic.

Vettel: "Unfortunately, it's still not enough for Mercedes."

In the longruns the gap is bigger. On the soft tyres 1.2s per lap, on medium tyres 0.3s slower.

#AMuS Does the Ferrari aero update work?

It's not a match winner, but it brought a slight improvement. The total downforce of the car has increased.

Vettel: "The package works but it could be more."

The first responses of the "Singapore package" Ferrari are good although, as often happens with the most important packages, the advantages are still not aligned with what was expected (0.4 seconds). Today Vettel is more satisfied with the upgrades compared to Leclerc # F1 #SingaporeGP

Singapore is ridiculously fast with lower track temps, so it's impossible to compare. Hopefully one of our drivers can nail P3 in qualifying.
