What vettel did with Mediums tyres, that can’t be achievable with Lec.
That’s the only reason I find of 2 stopper for him.
His hard tyre pace was good but that was for short period. Once the grip is gone, they just start struggling.
It’s all about tyre management for Ferrari now.

Mercs are beating them with good tyre management & race pace.

It was a gamble that didn't pay off because of our lack of pace + pit stop / Charles mistakes.
So the car is crap in race trim, according to you...But then they put him on 2 stops, when he was leading the race, and hoping that he will overtake Hamilton, Bottas and Vettel? Is that make any sense?

Ferrari made a blunder with Leclerc's strategy, they also should've pitted Vettel a lap after Hamilton. But they waited for 4 laps and Vettel lost time with the traffic. Track position is always the key.

Lec never had the pace on Mediums to push outright n build a lead. Which gave an option to Ferrari strategists of thinking 2 stops. Because Ferrari are not confident of going with hards for too long on his car.
Lol...after the the pit stop Albon was 26 sec behind Vettel, and in the end he finished 20+ seconds behind Vettel. Albon was never the threat.

Without Pit stop error & his mistakes on track, Lec would have taken the fight for the win.
Simple equation : he would have been close to Bottas + if he passes him, then 2 vs 1 scenario means
Vet & Lec against Ham. If one can’t do it, the other can as he will be on more fresher tyres.

Charles saying his 2nd stint was not good enough as he did not have good feeling with his tyres to push, our forum experts could have predicted this though...

It always works for them. Good for them, I’m not bitter about loosing. I am sick and tired of the lies. Hamilton’s tyres where brand new for the majority of the race and he was crying on the radio. Comes out of the car talking about how hard it was for him...meanwhile he didn’t even break a sweat and even Vettel called him out saying Hamilton was just cruising. It’s been 6 years of this, I am tired and rightfully so. Toto, Hamilton, Pirelli, all lies, and its getting old for F1 fans.

"If he passes him"....Again, how he's gonna overtake Bottas if our car is slower in race trim?

I’m talking about 1st stint & you are talking about whole race.
On mediums: Albon was within DRS range of Vettel who is 2sec further behind Lec.
At this situation, RB pulled the trigger for Pit stop. So who should react ? Either Vettel or Lec right ?
As Lec is the lead driver & was not building the gap as expected (may be due to tyre problems) ferrari given right call.
Which opened vettel in free air, to do the best. During this process, Ham was always within range of Ferrari’s.
When ham did come for pits, ferrari thought to bring Vettel in too. But by that time it was too late as Ham was doing purple sectors & would emerge ahead of Vettel.
This is where ferrari/vettel thought let’s extend the stint. So that during final laps Lec/vettel against Ham. So gave away track position. Remember overtaking is not difficult on this track.

Ferrari's starting position 1-2 is 0%. Leclerc should be on the Vettal tactics and would win. Ferrari's tactical mistakes and a considerable drop in form from qualifying to the race are a problem. They need to analyze and improve this for the 2020 season.

I’ve clearly said Without pit stop error, Lec with fresh set of tyres would emerge close to Bottas. Which gives advantage.

We never even really had pole here, and Charles would probably have been 4th or 5th without Botta's crash.

Seb saying Lewis had nothing to loose in taking the gamble to 1 stop, a huge risk but paid off. And Merc had started with a 2 stop in mind but gambled as they were behind.... Our forum experts know better.

Playing gamble with the lead driver was the dumbest strategy in the world. If they really wanted shadowing Albon, then why not put Charles on hard tyres, knowing that Albon had to pit again.

One can ask/say why Charles is 4th. He has the quali pace, but in the race he struggles with tyres more than Vettel.
Even Charles would agree with above statement.

Because charles can’t go till the end with those tyres.

Mercedes with the superior race pace was just playing with us. And then this poor tyres, nobody on fresher tyres could even attack somebody. Ricciardo was holding up Perez on 50 Lap old tyres. It was comedy. We know how we are lacking race pace, the Mercedes was always amazing on the hard tyres. And than that s3 made it impossible for Seb to attack. Seb was in the middle of the Mercedes pack. He did a good job holding at least Bottas. I am happy for him today. But sad for Leclerc as the Team destroyed him with the poor strategy. Why put him on the Mediums? Track position is the King here and its all about the tyres. Forza Ferrari.

Then how come Vettel couldn't overtake Hamilton? he had the fresher tyres + power advantage.

Vettel could''t overtake one car...I don't know how you expect Leclerc to overtake 3 cars.
