    2019 Brasilian GP RACE

Starting the thread I just thought there is a specific Sod's Law very much applicable to Ferrari team:
"When things just cannot get any worse - they will".
No reason for Brasil to be an exception...

Will probably watch the start but unless Vettel takes the lead I doubt there'll be much point with this race, just trying to not let Hammy undercut us and stay in P2 if so, until something might happen to Max' car. This altitude BS has really screwed us. I've zero doubt this track would've yielded a 1-2 in qualifying at sea level even with S2 there = S3 in Hungary.

I think Seb can win this race if he gets ahead of Verstappen in the first stint. Ferrari have the upper hand in S3 and close in S1 and that should be enough.

Besides that, this season can't end fast enough. These last few races have been horrible from a strategy point of view and obviously mechanical/technical reliability as well.

Because all race threads start optimistic in the last 10-12 years but very rarely finish so. Let us try the other way round.

I’m vary of Max, he’ll have last year’s race redemption in mind. Vettel needs to attack first corner, his best chance will be first 2 or 3 laps. Hamilton is mentally strongest in top 3. Good to see 3 different teams battling it out

Leclerc must show restrain at the start, he has the car to clear the midfield within 5-7 laps. But he needs to survive the first lap.

Hopefull Vettel will get ahead of Max at the start.

Early laps, but race pace is actually looking good. Vettel is keeping up with Hamilton ahead.

    Leclerc 1:13.791, personal best. Top 3 1:13.5-6-7.

Also Charles is getting lots of support here which is good to see.

Vettel with a useless as start as usual lately. Sigh. Charles should be easy top five, might beat Bottas. Might get lucky with a SC and be able to fight for a podium on softs at the end.

We should keep Vettel out longer than the two in front since he won't undercut them anyway. All eggs in the SC basket. Unfortunately the strategists are too silly to be proactive.

What a luxury Williams drivers have, fighting for position every single lap from start to end.

His pace is better than expected. It was expected before race that Vettel would finish a minimum of 20 seconds off P1 but looks like it will be less than that.
