Oh well Toto, you've got a driver who has won 5 of the last 6 WDC's, you've also got a driver who's slower than your star driver and incapable of beating him over a season. It's pretty easy to team order Bottas, "Valterri, please lap around 1m48.8 delta so that you don't get track position ahead of Lewis", but that sort of team order on Leclerc is not going to work, and not to mention extremely unfair since Leclerc, who only had 21 race experience when he got promoted from Alfa to Ferrari, out win-pole-podium-scored Vettel.

So it's not really unusual, it's pretty simple actually. I mean you could've easily replaced Bottas with Max, but you didn't and it was quite understandable. But that's not the case here at Ferrari, Leclerc is not a obedient butler like Bottas, he is an exceptional talent and future world champion. When the choice is between Leclerc and Vettel, Leclerc is the obvious answer. Just like when it is Max vs Bottas as Hamilton's teammate, Bottas is the obvious answer.

Ferrari is the mother of all " Rubenization! " Todt. Ross, Shumy ! Max is #1 @ R Bull, that's what he wanted. @ Merc it's Luis' car not him that's winning. Bottas has no chance against that car. It drives itself to the checker flag. He still managed to finish 2nd place. Seb!! Where were you?
Bottas did 7 wins, 11 poles, 36 podiums 878 pts. so far with Merc. Another great car , I guess is the reason. The races can't come back soooon enough! I can't wait for Charles, Lewis{car}, and Max to fight to the end for WCC !

So Vettel, the man himself, pretty much confirmed today that, he had received zero contract extension offer from Ferrari. Ferrari never showed any interest of signing him for another year or two, there wasn't even a single offer from them to Vettel.

So, Turrini, the so called "Ferrari Insider", posted some fake rumors to get some clicks for his fake news blog. I hope people here will soon realize that Turrini isn't a Ferrari insider, and will stop posting his blog-nonsense.

Yes, both things are contradictory. On one hand you come out and say Vettel is in Pole position for the second seat and then there is no contract to offer

Binotto's pay check is for sure a big one! $50 million pay to Seb had to in some way by someone in Ferrari be compensated for; at least verbally. That's what happened. In a quiet place far from any engine noise Binotto was told what to say pro Seb . Charles made it tough as all hell for them. I'm hopping for Charles to fight big time up front this season regardless of the words Down force and tire choices.

Vettel/RP negotiations are going on. RP are offering Perez “a high million digit amount”

According to "Bild", there is a compensation clause in Perez's contract that RP could use until July 31. According to the report, the contract between Perez and the team could be terminated earlier "for a high single-digit million amount".

Interesting thing Toto is negotiating RP/vettel contract.

    Here's more info.

Some further information from RTL / BILD article regarding the Vettel/Aston Martin rumors: Bild reported that both sides are negotiating and that an agreement "is expected". RTL sources say there is no agreement (at least not yet).

Sky Germany also quotes BILD and adds: "Sky can confirm that the tendency for both Vettel and Aston Martin is strongly pointing towards a cooperation."

2021 Racing Point takes the sponsor Aston Martin to become Racing Point Aston Martin(??) or just Aston Martin F1(??). RedBull drops the Aston Martin sponsor.

Yeah, Racing Point and Mclaren have made the biggest gains for 2020. Siedl (Mclaren) has really turned that team around....along with Lando.

Lawrence Stroll, with consortium, is a "Type A" businessman.

Lance Stroll not only lacks RACE-CRAFT in a race but IMO, if and when Lance takes over daddy's business, will lack in that dept. as well. He just does'nt come across, at least to me, that "type a" personality.

Yes ...his race craft is very poor even with a strong car & fresh set of tyres he couldn’t pass Ric.
But poor Perez where does he go from here...

ESPN México reports that Checo's agent has been in contact with Haas and Alfa Romeo for *weeks*, which pretty much confirms that Vettel and Lawrence Stroll have held negotiations as reported. Also said that the move will be made official on August 2nd.

I think that's hugely unfair on Sergio, he has shown his strengths over many years when he has a decent car under him.

Good opportunity for Vettel I’d say. RP will be a good car to drive, not a championship giving one. And ofcourse again he’ll have an average team mate

Mateschitz wants him back to Red Bull

During the Hungarian GP weekend, Mateschitz, the boss of the Anglo-Austrian team, allegedly gave Councilor Helmut Marko the green light to bring the German back to the RB.

Vettel is helping Hamilton to spew his Marxist agenda. We need to sack him before he turns Ferrari into a communist propaganda outlet.

Lewis is more than likely just asking Seb how he managed his salary while not doing so good points wise.

Vettel is just trying to get into Lewis' good books so he can get a Merc seat.

Better Seb than Bottas along side Lewis. Enough of Bottas winning a race and on the podium. There's only 5 points between them. Nico beat Lewis by 1 pt. !!
