There's talk of understeer through long, high-speed corners such as Turn 10, 11 and 15. Leclerc and the team might have to start writing in code...
Is there a photo of the notes we can see?

Doesn't look good for now. A bit lazy, only big team not to go with slimmer nose and big cape, there must be something there (like it was in our sidepods).

Unfortunately, looks standard Ferrari, except this year we probably won't have hope being demolished once season starts, as there will be none.

A little bit early for the doom and gloom. Ferrari were off the pace by 0.976 this morning. But last year we were fastest and deemed winners...we all know how the season turned out. Have some patience.

    I would say it says:

"Last sector is enchanting compared to last year."
    Supposedly it's from Lec notes.
IF true ,at least something good !!!

Overheating huh? According to my armchair aero knowledge, more friction = more downforce = tyres are working quite hard = tyres are getting warmer aka they're overheating.

Now a car with low downforce will never overheat it's tyres. It's tyres will lose temperature. I can also see why Leclerc's having bit of trouble with under steer in high speed corners.

If less downforce, won't car is sliding, overheating the tires?

Another comment to note from this mornings session:

10.25: Already lots of intrigue around the new cars on show. Renault is running a super slim nose, which looks great, while the Racing Point car looks like a 2019 Mercedes painted pink.

Sergio Perez was only 0.062 off of Bottas pace. Merc throwing a buffer between them and Ferrari/RB? I guess having one butler isn’t enough security LOL

u got a good point there

both mercs are fast....yet we're nowhere

maybe we r running on full tanks all the time
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Last year in testing Ferrari was fast and everyone thought it would be their year, it wasn't. When will we learn that times in testing, though they may provide some clues, don't tell the story?

We topped every test session in the last few years and came to the first race only to be shocked. Maybe we are trying something different this year.

the inane "banter" between croft and all the others is really really grating!

The lack of running from Ferrari is concerning is it not? Oh as I say that Charles goes out.
