I think sadly at this point Sainz is regretting his decision.

Merc engines all smoking and all Merc teams have an incredible leap in performance relative to who they are normally battling. This is not a power circuit but the unusual pace increase by ALL Merc teams this weekend? It's so suspicious. Ferrari with their drag issues are not to bad on straights relative to Renautl and Honda teams, chassis must be quite good as S3 2nd only to the Mercs. Looks like Red Bull have a bit of a crisis this weekend.
Yeah...such a great chassis, "only 3 tenths" away from Mercedes and less than a tenth ahead of RP, while giving away 5 tenths in sector 1 and 2.
If the car was neck-neck with Mercedes in sector 2 and 3, then sure, we could say that Ferrari produced a great chassis. But that's CLEARLY not the case.
Stroll and Perez are no rookies, so Seb and Charles has mission impossible tomorrow, so P5 and P6 is best what we can get.
You see Mercedes now creating a monopoly over Formula one. Next year you get McLaren with Mercedes engine, probably get a few drawings from them. So eventually you have one engine supplier ie mercedes.
This is going to be a frustrating season to watch. Nobody can come close to dethroning Mercedes and Hamilton. All thanks to the FIA and Ferrari incompetence.
Ferrari last year got too greedy pushing the engine loop hole too far and making everybody suspicious. Mercedes knew last year that Ferrari was cheating but could not prove it until the whistleblower came along.
What a disaster for Ferrari fans everywhere.
I think our last years engine is in the back of the Mercedes- powered cars now !
Well done Seb and Charles. In front of the Red Bulls. The Ziggo-Team in the Netherlands is flabbergasted
Have fun tomorrow forum!
Forza Ferrari
At last our Ferrari on FRONT ROW!!!!!! (Driven by human made engine)
1-4 position locked by allien made engine

Vettel after qualifying: It is better than in Austria. The car seemed better balanced and this track is also more suitable for us, having fewer straights. Certainly, however, we still have to improve.
I usually dont like to blame others for my mistakes/bad performance and so I do it for the team I love. I dont like to blame Mercs / RedBulls / McLarens etc every time we are not managing to create a winning car. More or less did it this year, but now it looks so but SO suspicious the performance leap for Mercedes and Mercedes powered cars, and on top of that when you see smoke coming from the back of all Merc powered cars, then I also start thinking that ok we did a bad job BUT what the hell are they doing. They cant make SO much progress under the same ryles, with directives on the engines etc !!!!!?????
And forget about us, what about RedBull?????
Last year ,when it started being obvious that we have a top engine, everybody start shouting left and right that we must have done something illegal!!! Even if it was obvious that we had a very efficient car with bad downforce and no drag, they still didnt accept it and keep asking FIA to check our engine!!!!!
WHAT NOW ????
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
I bet, even with thise difference, Mercedes is just toying with everyone else, mening if they turn their engine 100%, they would lap the entire field!
But as you said, it is god fot the sport! In some very twisted way, it is good they are driving without spectators, as it is so much entertaining! Sarcasm off!
I'd say this: Luca's "Italianization" project, and Ferrari sticking to it, really giving us the expected results. Ferrari getting what it deserves, when you forced out some immanently talented people, and promote under-qualified people whose main selling points are that "they are from Italy", what else can you expect.
Mercedes is an well oiled machine, they don't have Ferrari-like politics, they don't sack people for it, and they certainly don't undervalue and underappreciate their people. That's why they are at the top, and will remain so.
I think Ferrari can get one driver out of Q1 in Monza if they try real hard.
Just like they did in previous years. As soon as someone got close, then just turned it up a bit more and sailed off into the distance.
If you think by some magic 2022+ will be any different, I doubt it. Not with the current culture at Ferrari.
