    HungaryGP 2020: RACE

    Looks wet this morning.

50 to 60 percent chance of rain today.

Turn 1 is going to be a nail biter.

It's not how start but how you finish.

First corner lock up by Stroll in his daddy's car, straight into the back of Hamilton.

pink Mercs has a clause from Parent Mercs, don’t touch our cars or Ham.

Podium to play for I think. Measured aggression hopefully for Charles and a clean race for Seb. It is what it is.

If one Ferrari finishes ahead of Verstappen and takes one of the Racing points that would be maximum without and DNF for others. Perez to have a lonely run to 3rd, Hamilton builds an 8 second lead to Bottas then just covers and pushes from Bottas to retain the gap, about 15 to 20 seconds ahead of Perez in 3rd. Maybe a chance for 1 Ferrari to beat Stroll and stay ahead of Verstappen. As Stroll, the Ferraris and Verstappen will be close 1 of the Ferraris will be compromised during pit stops as will be too close to pit 9n the same lap. Dream scenario is all 4 Mercs catch fire and Ferrari get a 1, 2 but that really is dreamland.

It's just a question of how many safety cars in the race.

If we pass RP at the start, they will come back hard in 2nd part of the race. I think 5th & 6th are best possible results.

Would be wonderful but will never happen, Lewis gets 100% of the luck always and never, never comes of the worst after a collision.

    SF90 vs SF1000

    Sector 1: 26.918 vs 27.389 (-0.471)

    Sector 2: 26.553 vs 26.245 (+0.308)

    Sector 3: 21.360 vs 21.014 (+0.346)

I do wonder where this car would be, if Ferrari had last years engine.

It would be miles infront, it would beat the Mercs but only Merc are allowed to do strange stuff with their engines then have that advantage ring fenced for 2 years. This is like 2014 but Racing Point are fulfilling the William's role.

I think even if we consider last year engine in SF1000, 2nd row lock out would have been possible still It will not be sufficient to challenge current Mercs. They’ve reached another level. Don’t know how Year by year they find such performance from aero & engine.

It is about time both Mercs do a "ferrari", meaning take each other out.

Then why even having grid positions in the track if it’s a SC start. They have wet/intermediate tyres to deal with.
It’s better leave them on the track & start normally

Installation laps before for race start...lost his front wing. Maybe front suspension damage.

Judging by new F1 standards it will be at least 10 laps behind SC
