At least we have this kid 4 more years, great job! World-class performance to finish P3 at a power circuit in this car.

Not allowed to swear but why couldn't #44 just have gotten stranded?

Vettel... well. Lesser said, the better.

When mercedes can still win with a flat tyre it's time to switch off and pick a new sport

Alonso is not like Vettel, he's not gonna crash in to someone while trying to overtake. And 2010 was without DRS.

With regards to Max' pit stop, for Ferrari to win a race we'd need both Mercedes to blow multiple tyres, Verstappen to crash earlier on the lap to the grid plus both pink cheat copycats in quarantine

Alonso is a different league driver. Vettel & even Ham will be no match to him

He's now at the mercy of RP, they will decide whether he stays in F1 for next year or not. That says all doesn't it.

If I were the TP of RP, I would keep Perez over Vettel.

Ham already matched him in his rookie season, but yeah Alonso of 2007 wasn't the Alonso of 2010-2018.

But he's a league above Vettel, no doubt about it.

Alonso is the only driver this side of Schumacher capable to winning a title in an inferior car, and in fact would've done so but for the FIA inspection debacle on the Red Bulls in 2012 in Monaco and Germany.

Senna in 1991, Schumacher in 1995 and 2003 and Alonso in 2005 are the greatest title wins in my lifetime with regards to equipment had, while Alonso in 2012 without a match is the best season I've ever seen from a driver.

2007 season Ham vs Alonso, we can differ a lot especially 2nd half of the season where team is inclined to Ham

Frankly, he should just pack it in before embarassing himself further. To think how good he was in 2015 and 2017 to go to this is just baffling. The moment he started try to kiss the rear end of everything Mercedes all the time, he collapsed as a driver. Him going into the Mercedes team box after losing the title to shake everybody's hands just made me see red.

Seb had problems the entire weekend. You saw it fp1 problem fp2 problem fp3 problem. The car was badly setuped and balanced the same as Charles had in Hungary. Charles did its max bravo. Lewis lucky again. Poor Seb new team awaits for him or to retire as Kimi. Both did its years and had many good years.

What we saw today was bound happened. Tyres are from last year and today's car, aero-wise, producing more downforce than before. If we raced in Spain, half the field would not finish that race.

Good thing for us I guess, since we are not really quick compared to last year, both aero and engine-wise.

At some point Charles was 2 second slower than lewis per Lap. Crazy. Charles really did its job today for deserved third. Shame fo max as he could win the race.

As I said, Alonso of 2007 wasn't the Alonso of 2010-2018. Alonso of 2010-2018 would come out ahead of current Hamilton, if both had equal cars.

Too bad we never got see prime Alonso in the fastest car.
