TBH, it was expected. I know some here are shocked, but I don't get why. The current Ferrari engine is nowhere near the pick level performance of others, Ferrari themselves admitted it, and it was evident since Austria. So our current performance is hardly surprising.

This is something special Binotto was talking about for this race?

And it will remain so the entirety of this year. They can't upgrade the engine, and no amount of aero parts will ever make up for the power deficit.

Interesting how Ricciardo is matching Verstappens time, shows me Hamilton can go a lot faster

I’m afraid so.....when you have a donkey in the back....nothing else will help aero wise

Renault can match Red Bull in quali sim, but the race pace is entirely different matter. I'm expecting Max to challenge Hamilton here. It will be Ham vs Max vs Bot as usual, with Albon battling with slower cars for the P4.

Yes sorry was talking about Q. Very decent performance by Renault though. The RB16 is a beast in race trim

Only in tracks like Spa or Monza. But next year will be different, Ferrari have made a good step forward with the aero, and if they can recover the lost power with the engine, we will again fight with the Merc.

NO, I’m just bashing the team for designing a complete TURD of an engine....been a ferrari fan since I was 14 (now 45 BTW) and never have ever seen such a complete garbage of an engine....Enzo would truly roll in his grave...since he truly believed that engines are > then aero

Especially since there will be no more party mode next year either....at least I’m hoping there won’t be

Max on mediums 1m48.996, Vettel on softs 1m52.668

    Leclerc on mediums 1m50.672

Horrible long run pace. Only Haas is slower than us.

SPA is going to be a humiliation. I think I will ignore this race, I don't want to see Ferrari battling for P14-P20.

How in God's name can our car be so utterly awful? Truly disappointing.

Charles must be seriously wondering what he's let himself in for..

A massive shunt on lap 1 that takes out everyone but us, Williams and Haas is the only way we'll get on the podium!

Still, I'm sure I'll watch anyway - hoping for some 'fortunate' dramas..

What...you think 2017,2018 or 2019 was this bad? Maybe refresh your memory a bit.

Well, we can't blame the drivers. VET is still capable and we all know LEC is as fast as ANYONE in F1. It's simply a three-legged dog of a car ??

No, we can't blame the drivers. It is just the car and the engine in it. Ferrari has built not so good cars in the past too, but it was always camouflaged by an engine that was a beast. But this time both are weak.....and that hurts a lot.

Ferrari was good throughout the 2017 season, especially the second part.

Same thing in 2018. The Singapore upgrade was a let down, but they only kept it for 2 races and then ditched it, and the car was good again. As evident by Raikkonen winning the US GP

2019, was bad. But still Ferrari had 9 poles, and with a competent race strategy team, they could've won more than 3 races.

This year is an outlier. Mainly due to the pandemic situation in Italy.
