Leclerc is losing a second in the sector 1 to Mercedes and 8-6 tenths to everyone else. What a pitiful engine.

But nobody forced Ferrari though, they agreed on their own accord to enforce the in-season engine development freeze.

The one positive is our car is strong in s2, leclerc is only 1 tenth slower than the mercs on older hard tyres compared to them. We are getting obliterated in s1 a second a lap slower.

This was my point from long time. They should have fought, ferrari has every right of it when engine deemed is not illegal.
They exploited loophole, which Ferrari has every right to.

Yup sector 1 and the run down to the start finish line is where Ferrari is losing all the times.

With this engine freeze there's no way we can be competitive this season. No aerodynamics is going to solve this deficit. And with this engine mode limitations currently imposed it seems to only benefit Mercedes. This season is starting to look like a play. Tracing Point had an updated brake duct, very similar to the Mercedes. This season is such a Mercedes show. However I try to enjoy the racing. This season is totally in the bin anyway. Feels like 1986 allover again...
